Making gold with Primal Might

I've been leaching for a while so thought i would share something with you guys that i came across last night.

As you all know this new patch that is upcoming is going to make frozen orbs trade-able for Frost Lotus'. My thoughts were dang now flasks are gonna be worthless so i decided hey i'll try out transmute. I thought getting a proc on my 20hour cooldown would be worth it overtime. After a while i realized that primal might and transmute saronite to titanium and meta gems didn't have cooldowns. Im not sure if this is just server based but there was 1 primal might in the ah selling for 350g. So i decided to buy 8 of each primal to make a might. It proced for me enough so i made 12 instead of 8. I ended up selling each for 325 in over a night. almost 4k gold after only spending 400-500g on mats. imagine if i just farmed them. I also tested the saronite to titanium and made about 500g on that too.Hoping for a raw cut proc soon. so i'm not sure if its server based but i made a killing on that and am just gonna do it untill it catches on.

Perhaps this would work...
I'm a Grand Master Transmutation Master, and I've been using the Titanium xmute for all my gold. Once titansteel loses cd, titanium will drop like a bomb.

This idea may work, but primal mights don't sell for 350g, (more like 130,) and they're BC. Therefore, not many people would buy them.

I thought about this a while ago when i was levling enchanting and creating some rods but i couldnt be arsed to find an alchemist, I might try it out now thanks for the reminder! :wave:

You need Primal Might - Item - World of Warcraft for the Transmute Mastery quest.

I've been selling them for 600g each, as they are needed for the runed adamantite rod.

Its about 10 mins grinding on the elemental plateau in Nagrand for the mats.

Well yes you need 4 primal might just to get transmute mastery, stating that most people just become transmute masters even if they want to become elixir, instead of doing the black morass quests, than just pay the 150g to switch to elixir mastery, so there should always be need for primal might, and as Cher pointed out they are needed for Runed Adamantite rods also, thanks for the reminder , anyways i made another 2000 gold last night, and am very happy with the success rate this is going at. I just made the guide to show when elixir mastery takes a poop with the next patch there is always other options out there for us alchemists.

I went to the AH, and bought enough for a single transmute, just to see the total cost, without actually doing math. It was a bit over 43 gold. Primal Mights were hovering around 97 gold on my server. So, I bought enough for 8, transmuted them into 13 (got a 5 right off the bat, and then a double). I put up 3 in the AH for 90 a pop, which will more than pay for my mats, and now I have 10 left over to either sell or use for my own purposes, lol.

Not nearly as good profit on my server, but it is still doubling my money, which is better than any of the other transmutes that dont have a 20 hour cooldown. Even better is that it is more than double my money even if I dont proc. Any procs are just gravy. I can see this easily flooding the AH though, and destroying the price.

1. Be lucky on server prices
2. Be lucky on primals, my server nearly has none
3. Be lucky someone actualy buys them
4. Be lucky on transmute procs

To much luck needed imo.

I still prefer Karazhan farming as there is no nearly no luck needed there, some willpower.

worked on my server. sold 3 primal might today for 200g each.
Farmed Primal Mana in Netherstorm since you can't get it at the Elemental Plateau.

I kinda control ah at my server with primal mights :P So yeah is great bussines but i mostly cba about creating i prefer to be smartass AH camper hehe

On my server it's 75g for primal air, 25g for fire and mana, and 100g to 150g for primal might.

So this doesnt work for all servers. Too easy for afk bot in elemental plateau to farm all but 1 of the primal for transmute.

WHY is Primal Might so expensive?
Everyone can easily get 1 of each primal and then find an alchemist.
Maybe the only thing why you have to pay so much is the cooldown which Primal Might has.

Primal mights no longer have cooldowns bojanis. The simple answer is that people are lazy. Players who are powerleveling their alchemy to 450, have gold. They go buy all the mats, they hit 350 or what ever and realized they need more primal mights. They simply go buy them no matter what the cost because they want to get it over and done with and the can't be bothered to go farm them.
