Easy gold with a Blacksmith

Scanning the AH for crafted items I could make a quick profit on I saw that Titanium Rods were ridiculously high. So I made one with mats laying in my bank and broadcast in trade. Within a minute (and around 5 whispers) I'd sold it for 80g.
This got me thinking, how could I mass produce these cheap.

The answer as most of you would know is getting Titanium transmuted from an alchemist. The numbers I'll be running are for a non transmute spec (if you're lucky with procs you may get a lot more)

Titanium Rod - Spell - World of Warcraft
Saronite Bar: 1g50s each (smelted from ore)
Titanium Bar: 12g (8x Saronite Bar)
Total price for a Titanium Rod: 15g (price of a stack of ore)

Again broadcasting in trade I'd sold all 10 I made in minutes.

Cost: 10x15= 150g (and an extra 20g tip for the transmutes)
Sold for: 10x80= 800g
Profit: 630g

Of cause these numbers will vary from server to server. Could also get more if you put them on AH (making sure you don't flood it). It's nothing huge, but not bad for a few minutes work.
NOTE: I did a search of Titanium Rod on the forums and nothing came up, so as far as I'm aware it isn't a repost. Just wanted to contribute in any small way I can ;-)

I smelted all my own ore, but you could just buy Saronite Bars from the AH if you don't having mining. Or just get someone to smelt them for you

Nice guide but i don't see this selling all too well tbh. I mean, An enchanter will only ever need to get it once in his whole life time.

Yes they are an item you'd only need to buy once, but with how easy it is to level and gear up an alt a fair heap of people are also leveling enchanting.

I don't guarantee you'll make a fortune, but I managed to buy a Primordial Saronite with my profits just from today

Used this in start of wotlk to make good profit :P Even tho I farmed my own mats, but sold around 500g per rod x)

Though currently, nobody seems to be wanting them.

AH price is 109 g, trying to sell them for 80.
Got 1 on AH and have 4m in bags, i try to sell via /trade.

Going to go try this now, seems very simple and a great thing to add to a routine some people like myself of craftables that I sell daily but don't flood these items.

Just thought I'd throw in that Titanium Plating - Item - World of Warcraft and Titanium Weapon Chain - Item - World of Warcraft have been selling rather well on my server as well.
Been farming a load of saronite ore and making a killing transmuting it with Transmute: Titanium - Spell - World of Warcraft
Just find a guildee or someone in trade who is transmute spec and who doesn't mind doing a whole heap at a time. And also someone who wont ask questions ;-P
