RMP Guide
This is a guide to the famous comp RMP (Rogue, Mage, Priest). I'll try to cover the basics just to give new players a good start.
Because of RMP being a comp you can play in many ways I'll just cover our playstyle.

1. General
1.1 Playstyle:
Being an RMP you want to control the fight as much as possible and build
potential killchances. The mightiest tools you have as an RMP are sheeps,
kidneys, blinds and BURST. You want to use them as well-placed as possible.
1.2 General tips:
-Force PvP-Trinkets early to prepare switches
There are many ways of forcing PvP-Trinkets. An early blind nearly always
forces it.
Especially against druids an early blind can set up a kill on the druid. Just
fear him later on to prevent pre-hotting and just switch to him right after the
fear. Catching him in a full kidney with trinket down nearly always guarantees
a kill.
-Set up kills
I already mentioned a way to set up a kill onto a druid above but how do you
generally set up kills?
The key to RMP is setting up kills. You can kill an opponent in two ways. CC
the DPS and kill the healer or CC the healer and kill the DPS. The most
important thing to coordinate this is communication between the team
mates. Especially between the rogue and the mage.
They have to coordinate sheeps, vanishes, blinds, deepfreezes and kidneys.
If you want to kill the healer you will want his trinket to be down to catch
him in a full kidney (afterwards cs if needed) while his dps is blinded/sheeped
to stop peeling.
If you want to kill the DPS you should try to force the healer's trinket so you
can blind/fear/sheep him full.
-The rogue's tasks
The rogue in an RMP has to keep woundpoison up and kidney the right
targets at the right moment while keeping melees off his mates (slow, gouge,
defensive kidney).
Because of the rogue being a very viable target you have to play foreseeing.
You shouldnt get caught in a stun while the priest is CCed and DONT USE
CLOAK TOO EARLY.
-The mage's tasks
The mage in an RMP has to control the fight. He sheeps, frostbolts (rank 1),
novas, deepfreezes and silences. You should always weigh if you silence
offensively or defensively.
You should preserve your fireballproccs for burstsituations.
You won't be a target most of the time because of your two iceblocks. But
especially hunters like to switch to a mage so be aware of that.
You can also iceblock offensively to prevent CCs but you should be sure that
your opponents don't switch to you.
Rotate sheep drs.
-The priest's tasks
The priest in an RMP has to dispell and shield mainly. You want to stay out of
line of sight of your opponents to prevent CCs. You want to shadowword:
death as many sheeps as possible you cant prevent LoSing. You should try
and burst when your mates announce a kidney.
Another important task of the priest is the fear and manaburn. Together
these two tools are really strong. But take care: If you try to fear too
offensively your opponents will switch to you and a priest is really squishy
nowadays especially with pain suppression down.
2. Comp-specific
2.1 Wizardcleave(2 Caster-DPS and Healer(mostly shaman))
This is a really hard setup for an unexperienced RMP. You should try and
always be near a pillar.
If your priest is CCed, go defensive. You won't survive a wizardcleave
casting at you while you're stunned/deathcoiled.
The rogue should save his cloak/trinket for these situations, the mage his
iceblock.
The only really viable target is the healer, especially if it's a shaman. Either
he stays in your LoS and dies or he tries to hide behind a pillar and you
follow him leaving the LoS of the opponent's casters.
The priest has to spam dispell. If an immolate isn't dispelled fast enough
someone could potentially be dead. You should save counterspell for these
situations.

Another hard setup for an unexperienced RMP. Against this comp the opener
is crucial. Your Mage has to try and peel the DPS from the priest right from
the beginning. The rogue should try to sap their healer and open on the
warrior afterwards to prevent MS on the priest. The warrior is the most
viable target (disarm to prevent shield wall) but you can also switch to the
DK when his anti-magic shell is on cooldown. The priest should stay
defensive the whole game. The DK and warrior just have to get to him at the
same time once and he could be dead.
2.3 RMP (mirror)
Your mage should go invisible to prevent a sap. If your opponents' mage
doesnt go invisible your rogue should try to sap him. Otherwise he should
either try to sap the priest (your priest has to mount up and try to get in
combat as fast as possible) or stay defensive and look for a sap onto the
other rogue. If both mages go invisible or if the defensive rogue doesn't get
a sap off the mage and priest should 2v2. If that happens your rogue has to
open up on the mage after a blink to force the first iceblock. (vanish
afterwards and try to get a sap off)
If your rogue gets a sap off onto the other rogue you should train the rogue.
He will drop eventually. Defensive counterspells are crucial if your rogue is
caught into a full kidney.
If your opponents' rogue is not stealthed your rogue should try to peel/tank
him. (Defensive counterspell the mage if your rogue is kidney'd)
2.4 Beastcleave (EnhancementShaman, BeastmasterHunter, Healer(mostly druid))
Really, really hard setup for an RMP. You have to survive the burst at the
start of the game and try to score a kill on the shaman afterwards.
Disarm the hunter while he has bestial wrath up and fear the wolves. Mass
dispell bloodlust off the wolves and the BM-pet.
I'll try and keep this guide up to date and enhance it according to your
comments/requests. Please do not copy any part of it without my permission.
Remember: This guide is not for experienced RMPs but for new ones who
want to get started.
