About a 20fps gain in heavy, varied texture settings on my system. Full load dalaran went from 40 fps to 60+

    Specs: core i7 920 (oc'd 4ghz), 6gigs ddr3 ram, evga nvidia geforce 8800GT-KO (512mb)

It DOES help, but you need to not be GPU limited in the first place to see any sort of benefit.

Works for me went from usually 200-300 FPS, to 300-400 FPS. Didn't really notice a change in loading though.

...... i can't even understand why the hell you post bullshit like that... it is not like you can troll in this thread.. the only explain is increasing your postcount...

on the thread: without the command loading time was 27 seconds on my laptop
    with the command: 17 seconds.

I am not sure if wow has any cash to keep what has been loaded, since i didn't close the game, but just logged in, logged out and log in again... but i guess it works afterall Thanks for the share +rep

I actually went from about 40fps in Dal to a solid 55-60 fps -- The loading screens were incredible faster, especially considering a run over 100 addons. I didn't notice a difference really anywhere else as with my system the loading screen was mere seconds, but in Dalaran, after the first load, coming back, I went from 25 seconds loading to maybe 5-8 seconds. I turned off ALL my addons and the load time was like 1-2 seconds.

My system is a Corei7 920, 8 gigs DDR3, and a GTX 275 w/896 meg ram. This really was VERY helpful and I am VERY grateful for this. Really pro man! + 2rep

Ye, as I said in my first post.

All video cards have (atleast) 32 MB (see WoW system requirements) thats why they use that value.
