Hello This is pretty much just a guide for beginners


Talents !

Tips !

One of the main things you need to remember is to keep sacred shield up because of the talent divine guardian in the protection tree. This talent causes the shield to absorb about 4-5k dmg which is really helpful.
Sacred shield also gives you the ability to put a hot up which heals for around 2k every second for me with the t9 4 set bonus which i really recommend getting. The main spell you should be using is quite obviously flash of light and you should barely ever consider using holy light due to the fact that the heal doesn't actually scale with the mana cost very well. And because of the sacred shield hot the flash of light should be healing for more then your holy light anyway.
And now over to the most important thing Fakehealing ! This is the absolutely most important thing if you ever want to get high i suggest you practice this on your spare time with a dk because you can't actually get anywhere without it.

Partners !

The partners i suggest will have to be Death knight and Warrior.
I like these two because they're both really good dpsers, can help the healer out quite a lot if your a bit undergeared/playing with pve gear and it's really easy to burst something down with these 2 setups if you just simply time the cc correct.
I'm currently playing with a dk and we're gonna make another guide for this specific setup in a day or two i think.
Of course holy paladin works with other partners as well, for example I've seen a 2.2k rated mage paladin :P i was pretty surprised but they were good xD. I'm still gonna have to recommend warrior or Dk but other partners u can use are:

Hunter, Mage, Ret pala, feral druid, rogue and Elemental shaman. These are the only setups I've seen above 2k with a holy pala in them :P

And this isn't even the holy spec you're talking about. This is protholy.

And It's the most pathetic spec anyone could think of. Healing with one button must be fun... nah.
