[Farming] Storm Peaks Cave Gold Farming

Hello MMOWNED,

I have found a good gold farming spot. Inside this cave, in Storm peaks ( map below ) there are mobs, that can drop Greens / Grays/ Crystallized Fire. On the Auction House, Eternal Fires are the most expensive, going for 30 gold a stack on Dunemaul. I have got about 250 gold here an hour. The way to pull the mobs are to not range them, as they will charge you, and knock you back, but however, pull them in groups, if close enough together, and melee them down. Which is why a melee class is best for this area.

Here is a map on where to go:



In the picture, you will see a cave that i have marked, and put a square around. You want to travel there, and enter the cave. All around the cave you will bee the creatures roaming, sometimes in schools of 2 or 3. There, you can AoE them, and loot.


As I have said previously, I gained 250g/hour in this spot, which is not bad! Try this out, and tell me what you think!

good work +rep , great for farming eternal fire one word of advice to anyone farming here is do not pull each from from a range cos they charge you and knock you down pain in the butt if your trying to aoe, and they spawn pretty fast so yeah good find

This is so old.. also put a seizure warning at the top of your post because you will destroy your eyes if you farm these for hours on end. Their death animation is very bright.

This is where i farm Eternal Fire too. On my server eternal fire sells for 500 to 700 gold per stack but there are 5+ bots farming all the time.

It seems like everytime you kill one of the elementals anotherone respawns anywhere in the cave almost instantly.

So this is a great place to farm regardless of competition.
(I always try to tab the mobs which cross the bot's path in the front half of the cave. This causes the bots to run to the back of the cave
where they will spent most of their time.)

Yeah unfortunately this is a repost as stated above. The big reason why people don't really give you rep for something like this is because there are SO many different places to farm fire elementals.

I mean if you think about it. I could go search northrend and find EVERY single mob that drops Crystallized Fire, take a screenshot of the location and mob name. And then make a new thread for every single differerent location...see how easy that would be? It would take me less than 5 mins to take 2 screenshots, edit them in photoshop, upload to imageshack and post it here. That is not much effort at all.

Look at it from the bright side, this thread was a learning process for you. You posted something that people didn't like but they gave you feedback on how to make it better. Now take that information they gave you and incorporate it again next time you try contribute. On a final note remember to search for similar threads.

People really need to label there guides a lot better. I am sick of it. It's so hard to use the search engine to find what your looking for because they are all "1000g per/hour guide" that about sums it up.
