[Guide] Takk The Leaper - Leaper Hatchling.

Hello, I supose most of you have heard about the new raptor Non-combat pets released in patch 3.2 (if not, go here to find out about how they can make you a lot of gold)

The reason for my thread is to give you a 99.9% chance to recieve the [Leaper Hatchling] Pet.

What you must do is kill ALL the mobs in the below area
Follow the red line back and forth killing every single mob in that area.




The raptors should start at level 16-17, as you continue you will slowly notice their levels raise to 18. the amount of raptors will begin to be more than the amount of other mobs, when every raptor is 18, Takk the Leaper should spawn here:




He has a 100% chance to drop the [Leaper Hatchling]

I don't think this works, I practically made them extinct, even though they respawn really fast.

So far no luck, been doing it for 30 minutes. Levels are fluctuating like you would expect from a RNG. I have noticed a slightly higher spawnrate of raptors, but no Takk...

It just doesn't seem like something that would make sense in terms of mechanics to me.

Will update if something changes.

that raptor is somehow bugged on our server. Simply doesn't spawn. My friend camped it for literally 14hours.

Sorry guys, but this doesn't work, like Yano posted, he is on a fixed 7 hour respawn time, but somehow he seems bugged. Ive been trying this for 3 hours now, no luck.

Fi you want him real bad, I suggest trying it only when your server is low populated.

I tried this 30mins - the level of the mobs increased but no spawn.

Well, apologies, but this worked for me, as soon as the raptors hit 18 i saw takk. maybe it's just cos someone took it on your server that day? i don't know. i got it after 27 minutes. maybe I was lucky, but I will do it again tomorrow and report back.
