5 years late but still.. veterans rejoice! If you were not aware... this is self explanatory:
Damn right, horde is finaly getting the alliance's equivalent:The ravasaur trainer Mor'vek has returned to Un'Goro and will offer to help Horde players raise and train a Venomhide Ravasaur as a mount... if they can survive the creature's deadly poison.
Source:
After reading this guide, you will have understood that some these quests will be dailies and not a reputation grind like the alliance's Winterspring saber.
The mount ''grind'' will take a total of 20days to complete. (That is if you log on and complete the daily quest everyday.)
I will be updating this thread every day with updates/new quests..
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Welcome to my detailed guide on how to obtain your [Whistle of The Venomhide Ravasaur]!!
================================================================================ ===========================
The non-daily quests are given by the Ravasaur Trainer Mor'vek, situated near the passage to Tanaris (from Un'Goro Crater)
Here is a map of his location:
QUEST 1: Toxic Tolerance
Objective
DescriptionMor'vek in Un'goro Crater claims that if you were poisoned by Venomhide Ravasaur blood 2,000 times, you could ride one without dying. Attack Venomhide Ravasaurs for a chance to be poisoned.
* Splashed with Venomhide blood 0/20
Completion:You want to ride a Venomhide? Then I've got bad news for you.
The Venomhide Ravasaurs, they're all poison: Poison blood, poison spit, poison skin. You climb on one, you fall off dead in a few hours.
You'd have to build up a resistance to their toxins before I sold you one, and that takes a long, LONG time... you'd need to be splashed with poisonous blood while fighting one at least 2,000 times.
Here, you will have to get dots from damaging the Venomhide ravasaur that can be found in this area:You did it? You actually did it?!
Ho ho! Stubborn as my wife, you are.
Rewards:
You will receive: 80s
The best way to do this, is to remove your weapons/shields and auto-attack the beast with your fists. You will be getting a dot named ''Venomhide poison''. It should take you about 3 ravasaur (since each beast should splash you about 8times each) before reaching 20/20
QUEST 2: Venomhide Eggs
Objective
DescriptionBring 4 Venomhide Ravasaur Eggs to Mor'vek in the southeast part of the Marshlands.
*Venomhide Ravasaur Egg: 0/4
Completion:Now that you've built up an immunity to venomhide toxin, you can safely handle the animals and their eggs. Venomhides are vicious and must be trained from the moment they hatch.
If you want to ride one, you'll need an unhatched egg. Scattered throughout the Marshlands are a number of ravasaur nests. Look for the eggs with lighter colored shells -- those are the ones that will hatch venomhides.
If you bring me several of the eggs. I'll allow you to keep one and raise it's hatchling, with my guidance.
This is also fairly easy. Head North-East from Mor'vek and if lucky, you should see a big egg laying next to the usual pink ones.Good work. Honestly, I'm amazed you were able to find this many. With each clutch, they seem fewer in number. I'll let you raise of the freshly-hatched venomhides. It shouldn't be shy about letting you know what it needs.
Rewards:
You will receive: 80s
..Picture worth a thousand words:
QUEST 3: They Grow Up So Fast
Objective
DescriptionReturn 20 Venomhide Baby Teeth, the Venomhide Hatchling, 20 Runecloth, 20 Rugged Leather, and 80 gold to Mor'vek in the southeastern part of the Marshlands in the Un'Goro Crater.
*Venomhide Baby Teeth 0/20
*Runecloth 0/20
*Rugged Leather 0/20
*80 gold 0/1
*Venomhide Hatchling 0/1
Completion:With you expert feeding and care, your venomhide hatchling will grow quickly. As they grow, their hatchling teeth will be replaced by adult teeth. IF your keep the teeth shed by your hatchling as it grows, you'll have an easy way to tell when it's mature enough to be trained as a mount.
Your venomhide will let you know what it needs, so pay close attention. When it has shed all of its baby teeth, return to me with your venomhide and the materials for your saddle and I'll do the rest.
You will be given a Venomhide hatchling(non-combat pet) and just like the orphans during children week, will be giving you a quest everyday. The stack of runecloth and rugged leather, in addition of the gold shouldn't really be a problem.....
You will receive: [Whistle of the Venomhide Ravasaur]
Here's the hatchling.. lets just say he'll be cooler in 20 days rofl
You'll prob want to bank youself a stack of rugged leather.... to save yourself a few gs since it will probably be in high demand during the first month that patch 3.2 goes live.
To skinners thinking their over it: Save yourself the hassle of returning to level 60 area and kill 20 beasts......... skin a few gnomes during wintergrasp and buy a stack with the cash you'll have gotten

COMPENDIUM OF QUESTS GIVEN BY THE VENOMHIDE HATCHLING
(These quests provide 1 baby teeth everyday necessary to complete the QUEST 3: They Grow Up So Fast)
Here is the section of the guide that will be (as stated at the begining) updated daily to be ready for when 3.2 goes live:
PS: You'll be given one of these every day and they count in the 25 daily quests cap.
QUEST 1: Searing Roc Feathers
Objective
DescriptionYour Venomhide Hatchling wants you to get 5 pieces of Searing Roc Plumage.

It doesn't seem hungry, but what could the feathers be for ?
It must want them for adornments like the ones you've seen on other raptors. The largest feathers come from the searing rocs that congrate around the bones of large creatures in westein Tanaris, northeast of Thistleshrub Valley.
The feathers have a 100% drop rate and are found at this location (the chest, not the arrow):Your venomhide hatchling looks at you with anticipation.
--
The venomhide hatchling accepts the feathers and begins looking them over, holding several up to its armbands.

QUEST 2: Poached, Scrambled, Or Raw?
Objective
DescriptionYour Venomhide Hatchling wants you to feed it 12 Silithid Eggs.
*Silithid Eggs fed to Venomhide Hatchling 0/12
CompletionThe venomhide hatchling's stomach growls as it gestures to get your attention. It begins scratching pictures of silithids into the dirt, adding small ovals underneath them. It looks at you hopefully and gestures at circles.
They can only mean silithid eggs. The Noxious Lair, in the western Tanaris and near the border with Un'Goro Crater, would probably be a great place to find the eggs your little hatchling wants.
The silithid eggs are found around at this location:Your hatchling licks its lips after devouring the meal of silithid eggs. For a moment, you think it seems disappointed that feeding time has come to an end.
It's fairly simple, as the picture bellow shows, all you have to do is loot the eggs and right clic them once they are in your inventory. It should register as fed when you hatchling answers with an emote.
QUEST 3: Gorishi Grub
Objective
DescriptionYour Venomhide Hatchling wants you to feed it 10 Silithid Meat.
*Silithid meat fed to Venomhide Hatchling: 0/10
CompletionThe venomhide hatchling looks at you expectantly, then begins to scrawl a pictogram into the dirt.
The hatchling drawings seem to resemble various types of large insects perhaps the gorishi silithids The hatchling finishes his picture, then gestures at it with one short arm, snaps its jaws, and lick its lips.
It must want you to go to the Slithering Scar, in center of the southern part of Un'Goro Crater, and gather silithid meat. When you have the meat, feed it to your hungry hatchling.
Kill Gorishi Silithids to the south of ungoro, you should see a distinguishable mark on your map. Kill them, loot the meat, right click 10times.Your venomhide hatchlig flashes you a toothy smile and the settles in for a nap.
