The Vanity Pets in World of Warcraft are collected by many players. WoW mini pets usually have a very rare drop rate and some are normally rare to see. Some wow mini pets can be found in dungeons or quests or even can be dropped from mobs in the world.

WoW mini pets can even be sold for thousands of gold if you find the right ones. In this mini pet guide, i will show you some mini pets that can be found from drops off mobs in the world of warcraft. These will be mini pets that can be found by just grinding mobs in the world. You can use this to make thousands of gold, but can take you along time to find.



1. Azure Whelping
Our first pet is the Azure Whelping. The Azure Whelping is a baby blue dragon with a white stomache and flies along side you. The azure whelping mini pet is dropped in azshara off of lvl 50-55 mobs. The mobs this mini pet drops from are Blue Dragonspawn, Blue Scalebane, and Draconic Magelord. The tiny blue Azure Whelping has a drop rate of 1 in 1000, but can be sold for 1000g-2000g if you find the right buyer. Every once in a while this mini pet will spin around.




2. Crimson Whelping
The Crimson Whelping is a red baby dragon with a tan stomache. This Tiny Crimson Whelping is dropped in Wetlands and is dropped from mobs lvl 22-25. This mini pet is dropped from Red Whelp, Flamesnorting Whelp and Crimson Whelp. This mini pet also has the small drop rate of 1 in 1000, but can also be sold for 1000g-2000g. This tiny crimson whelping will also spin around every once in a while.




3. Dark Whelping
The Dark Whelping is a a black baby dragon with a tan stomache. This Tiny Dark Whelping is dropped in Dustwallow Marsh and is dropped from mobs lvl 41-43. This mini pet is dropped from Scalding Whelp and Searing Whelp. This mini pet like the other tiny dragons has a low drop rate of 1 in 1000 but can also be sold for the same amount of 1000g-2000g in the Auction House.




4. Emerald Whelping
The Emerald Whelping is a baby green dragon with a yellow belly. This Tiny Emerald Whelping is dropped in Swamp of Sorrows and is dropped from mobs lvl 35-36. This mini pet is dropped from Adolescent Whelp and Dreaming Whelp. This mini pet as of patch 3.1 also has a drop rate of 1 in 1000 but can also be sold in the Auction House for alot of gold.




5. Captured Firefly
The Capture Firefly has glowing yellow wings and abdomen. This Captured Firefly pet requires the Burning Crusade expansion and is dropped in Zangarmarsh on lvl 61-63 mobs. The Captured Firefly mini pet is dropped from Bogflare Needlers. This mini pet has a very low drop rate of 1 in 1500, but can be sold for a large amount of gold in the Auction House. This is personally my favorite mini pet to farm.
