First off, as this is my first thread, I just have to say that since I found this sight I fell in love with it. That's it I just had to say it. It is the only legit and definitely the most amazing site of its kind.
This guide is an ongoing project. I am going to write it as I actually level a friend of mine. Since I am extremely broke I am leveling him in exchange for the WotLK expansion pack. So I will eventually get this guide all the way through 80.
Before we start let me lay down all my tools:1. I have a main toon which I may at times use to supplement what I need for leveling (gold, raw goods, ect...).
2. I am a proud owner of WoWInfinity so I may use it from time to time. If you’re cheap you can try WoW Emu Hacker but I suggest not too.
3. I do experiment around with bots so if I use one I will tell what it is and tell you how to find it (I'll only use free ones).
4. I only use a couple add-ons but the ones I do I find completely necessary; Auctioneer, Cartographer, Turn In and QuestHelper. I also strongly recommend using the Curse Client so you keep everything up to date without the hassle of having to check Curse every day.
The character that I will be leveling is an Undead Warlock so some of the information I write may be case sensitive but I will try and make this guide as helpful as possible for any toon. Furthermore, I am receiving the character at level 13 but I will cover getting to that point.
Okay, now to the guide...

Here are some overall tips on Power Leveling.
1. Get Comfortable: I always have something to sip and sit on. Its like some incredibly sad cardinal rule.
2. Distract Yourself: Listen to music, watch TV or anything else you can think of. These methods are designed to completely and mentally remove you from the game so the task is not as draining.
3. Get Rested: ALWAYS log out in places that give rest. It just give you that much more of an advantage.
4. Take Breaks: If you are bored you're not going to be as productive as if you weren't. Also, before WoW was developed there was this other thing called outside and I like to spend as much time in it as possible.
Level 1-10
This can be either the fastest part of leveling a character or the most frustrating. The amount of xp (In the gamer sense of the word) to get to level 2 as opposed to getting to even level 30 is merely a drop in the bucket as all will come to find out. The best way to get xp in these levels is to do all the quests which are so readily available in the starting areas. So one may ask “Why is it so frustrating?” the stupid NCPs that’s what. Blizzard was very smart in their approach to teaching new players how to play the game but as a level 80 training someone else’s character or even an alt you don’t want to have to hear about how “you are vital to the efforts of the Horde (or Alliance).” This is where Turn In comes in.
Here is the exact description from Curse:It is very useful and speeds up quests at all levels but especially ones with a lot of dialogue like those in the lower levels. Something which also comes in handy is QuestHelper here is the exact description from Curse:An add-on that automates the clicking of Quests and NPC Gossip dialogues. This thing is a life saver.QuestHelper tells you how to finish your quests in the easiest, fastest manner. It includes a database of quests, monsters, and items, telling you the exact location of that dang Perfect Satyr Horn you can't find. It also computes the fastest path to complete all your quests - and gain experience - as quickly as possible.
These tools make levels 1-10 a breeze. I advise staying in the starting area and questing until you are level 10. You can try grinding but I find that it is not nearly as rewarding at these levels as it is at higher levels (Mostly due to the limited skills of this level.) Another thing about quests at this level get everyone you can before you start questing! If you miss one that is in the same area as another quest than you are wasting time!
More to come as soon as possible![]()
