Farming Piccolo of the Flaming Fire and Baron Rivendare's Mount

This is a guide for how to farm (quickly) two items that are very fun to show off :P

The two items are:
Piccolo of the Flaming Fire (Trinket, makes people around you /dance) Piccolo of the Flaming Fire - Item - World of Warcraft

Deathcharger's Reigns (Epic land mount, very few people have it)
Deathcharger's Reins - Item - World of Warcraft

These two items are acquired in Stratholme: Stratholme - Zone - World of Warcraft



Here is a map to help guide you through the somewhat confusing instance:






Step by step guide for farming BOTH items:

1. Enter from the entrance on the left side. Follow the white path.

2. Search for Hearthsinger Forresten. Use a /target macro, it will help a lot. He has a yellow name, so he will not attack you. He has a 20% or so chance of droppping the Piccolo of the Flaming Fire.

3. Continue to follow the white line around to where the exit is.

NOTE: If all you want to farm is the Piccolo, kill Magistrate Barthilas, get the key and exit through the south door.
If you're here for the mount aswell, kill Magistrate Barthilas and head north.

NOTEx2: If you want to run this again for ONLY the mount, you can exit through the side door using the Key to the City, dropped by Magistrate Barthilas.

4. Once you use the key to head northwards, it will trigger a timed event. You only have like 50 minutes to reach Baron Rivendare, similar to the timed event in Culling of Stratholme. 50 minutes is wayyy more than enough time, you'll only need 10 minutes, tops.

5. Head northward.

6. You see those three big green things on your map? (Marked by dark blue on my map). In each of those three mini-temples, there is a boss and SIX acolytes that you must kill. You must kill all 3 bosses, and all 18 acolytes in order to open Baron's gate (marked by yellow on my map).

7. Once you have opened the gate, head through it. You will be in a courtyard with a buttload of Abominations. You've gotta kill all of these in order to reach Baron Rivendare.

8. Once you kill them all, the door to the temple will open. I advise you rush in here and kill the big abomination inside the temple, in order to save time.

9. After the big abomination you'll fight like 5 weak guards.

10. Now you can rush in and kill Baron Rivendare. He has a few adds that spawn, but he's very easy. The mount has a 1% chance to drop.

11. After you defeat Baron Rivendare, exit the instance in the Southeast corner.

Repeat until satisfied. :P

Notes: For me, a run usually takes 10-15 minutes. As an 80 you can explore the entire instance without having to pull any packs of trash. You will occasionally be attacked by a bunch of maggots if you walk over the crates, but these only have like 800 HP.

Other notes:
The two NPCs Magistrate Barthilas and Hearthsinger Forrester both have multiple spawn points, although Magistrate Barthilas need only be killed once for the Key to the City.

Once you have the Key to the City, you can enter the instance through the side entrance using the key. The side entrance is where "exit" is labeled on the map. Also, the side entrance is at coordinates 43.0, 19.3 in Eastern Plaguelands.

And nowday i think everyone is just opening the crates instead of killing the mini bosses.
