[server dependant]1000g profit, 10 mins work!

Yesterday I saw my old unused Icebane Chestguard in my bank. I thought, since so many tanks need this for Hodir, what's the AH price?

Appearantly it was none on the AH on my server, so I placed it at an insane overpriced 1100gold. The mats cost 150g.

I didn't think I would sell it.

I went to Ulduar, and while there I saw the happy message.
A buyer has been found for your auction of Icebane Chestguard.
I went like omgwtfzomg in VT, and l8r I picked up the gold.
Also sold the belt, but not the shoes, as I had all 3 pieces. Might be a one-time coincidence, but I posted another at AH just to check :P

Didn't think of sharing it b4 after I got the mail with the money, but will upload screenie if I manage to sell another ^^

Also, on my server everything is cheap except Nobles Deck, so someone else might get even more cash for the chest

It is almost risk-free, as the mats is 1x Icy Prism (40g on my server), 3x Eternal fire (12g each on my server), 3x Eternal Water (4g each on my server), and 16 Saronite Bars (bought 20 for 40g).

You've might just have been lucky, probably one with alot of gold just saying "argh, can't be arsed to buy the mats and craft it, im too rich for that" and then he'd just buy it.

200g for mats on my server, 300g on AH. Not much, but its something.

Spent 80 on frozen orb, 15 for ea fire, and 13 for ea water, then like 40g for saronite bars. Got it made into the icebane chest, after I did that i was thinking it was a bad idea, none on the ah, didnt think it would sell for 1k so I put it up for 600 still being skeptical, I think the deposit was like 17g. Got back on later and it sold, worked for me . Still not something I like to put up again if it doesnt sell, huge deposit and risky sell.

Must say with tears in my eyes that I didn't sell the new one (12 hours tho). Will try again and keep you updated.

Didn't sell mine either, but with cheap mats like that, its not really lost money. Worth taking the chance. Can always just DE it and almost make the money back (bought the frozen orb for emblems).
