[Guide] How to make alot of motes

You need:
305 Engineering skill
Zapthrottle Mote Exctractor

How to:

------If you have extractor dont do these steps ----

1. Go to K. Lee Smallfry (Alliance) or Mack Diver (Horde).

2. Get the quest The Zapthrottle Mote Extractor!.

3. The Steam Pump Parts can be found in The Dead Mire, get 15.

4. Turn in the quest, now you have the recipe.

5. The mats can be bought off the AH for 100-200 gold.

6. Make the Extractor!

7. Go to 30,62 in Nagrand. (NEW SPOT: 63.0, 49.5)

8. Make this macro; and bind it to 9.
/use Mote of Air
/use Zapthrottle Mote Extractor

9. (If you are a rogue)Make this macro; and bind it to 8.
/cast [nostealth] stealth


11. Now it will press 8 and 9 all the time until you press F1.
You can minimize wow, as the script sends the keystrokes to the wow window, so you can play another game or on another account at the same time.
Running in background is not flawless, sometimes my pointer jumps around a little. I'll maybe work more on that later.

Actually, on my server motes go for the same price as eternals, sometimes more. Mostly because of the rarity of them now and the use for TBC gear. Also, because its less populated in Outlands and less likely to be killed.

Nobody needs TBC gear except levelers, but they can just get quest items. They will NEVER sell for as much as eternals do.

why would you want TBC gear I mean I went from lvl 59 in hellfire to 68 in like 2 days and I didnt even need any special gear or shit when your 68 go straight to northrend and get gear from quests

Motes arn't only used for gear, and you cant skip 300-375 in professions. They are still used and the prices are still high since people want to buy them to powerlevel professions, instead of farming them.

But not for as much as you would get for using the extractor in NORTHREND, where you can get crystallized fire/water/air/etc.
