Hello fellow World of Warcraft Players !
What you will see bellow is my guide to farming Whelpling pets for whatever might be, a few hundred or thousand gold, or for a pet collection

Item :Azure Whelpling

Draconic Magelord 53 - 54 Elite - Azshara 0.2% Droprate
Blue Scalebane 52 - 53 Elite - Azshara 0.2% Droprate
Draconic Mageweaver 51 - 52 Elite - Azshara 0.1% Droprate
Blue Dragonspawn 50 - 51 Elite- Azshara 0.1% Droprate
Leathers you will get in the farming procces if you have skinning:
1-2 Rugged Leather 44%
1-2 Thick Leather 25%
1 Blue Dragonscale 14%
1 Worn Dragonscale 10%
1 Rugged Hide 4%
1 Thick hide 3%

It is recomended to have skinning while farming the Azure Whelpling becouse of the high price of Rugged Leather and Thick Leather on most realms

To maximise your proffits it is reccomended to have skinning as one of your proffesions !

Some more info : Well I farmed all of the 4 kinds on my mage for 2 weeks
He had skinning. For 2 weeks for about 4-5 hours each day I got around enough money for my normal flying , epic flying trainings , belt of blasting belt ,
powerleveling jewelcrafting to 375 and some other craftable stuff
NOw the price of those whelps is 1.5x even 2x more than it was in TBC so farm away !
Good luck and let the RNG(random number generator aka the thing that calculates when you get drops) be with you, always !

You don't neeed top geared character to farm those Just llv 65 + for the Azure Whelpling..

The Dk that created that thread on official General forums about 3 weeks ago was me

Sorry if im wrong here but, id like to point out that i think this may be a copy and paste, for a couple of reasons (One you don't have much rep, Two who uses a belt of blasting anymore??, and Three 375 is no longer max lvl for jewlcrafting.)

Btw you mentioning the DK thing though is what kind of makes me believe that maybe your telling the truth.

Well becouse I went semi-hardcore farming them for 2 weeks

BTW it might be a nice idea to gather all 4 types of whelplings and make a thread on wowforums that you are selling them

You can farm basically anything for 2 weeks 4-5 hours a day and you'll end up with plenty of money.

Probably better off doing dailies and getting a gather profession though if you're trying to farm for a low % drop, you could go for days without getting one, you could get one in your first kill, but atleast doing dailies you're guaranteed something.

Well if you play on servers like Al'akir, where saronite is 20 gold per stack.. I much preffer this to farm

I have been doing all my dailies, then gathering till bored, then doing this and i have gotten 2 azure welps(2250 each) and 3 dark welps (1500g each). Doing all this netted me about 9k gold in 5 days.

Eh. Most level 80's will know about this. It's a great money maker for DK's who don't want to pick up & level professions..even though they get nice change from questing in Outlands / NRend.

Also, skinning would be the optimal profession. I know the lower level mats are selling for more, if not the same price as the end-game skins.
