Precise JC Gold Guide (No D/E'ing)

Below you will find how I make a least 2k gold a week by doing almost nothing. The profit could be expanded if I wasn't so lazy and actually farmed the mats instead of buying uncut gems off the AH.

Here is a list of the cuts that will make you the most money(on my server at least, I would think that these kind of cuts and prices wouldn't fluctuate to non-profit levels on any server):

JC TOKEN GAINED CUTS
Enduring Forest Emerald (Grn)
Solid Sky Sapphire (Blu)
Chaotic Skyflare Diamond (Meta)

REP FACTION CUTS
Runed Scarlet Ruby (Red) Kirin Tor - Exalted
Smooth Autumn's Glow (Ylw) Sons of Hodir - Exalted

WORLD/BOSS DROP
Inscribed Monarch Topaz (Org) World Drop
Sovereign Twilight Opal (Prp) World Drop
Austere Earthsiege Diamond (Meta) King Ymiron - UP

Buy / Prospect / Farm the mats to have at least 2 of each of these gems up at all times. Place the auction on a 12 hour duration, reason being the prices fluctuate so much that if your gems don't sell within the first 3 hours, you've bound to be undercut.

Set an initial cutoff price for re-cutting and listing. For me, I buy 800g worth of mats, and once I make that 800g back I buy more mats. Right off the bat it will seem that you are spreading yourself out too thin, until you see that you have 1k in your mailbox with 15 auctions still up. I was trying to find an alternate way to make money without D/E'ing, and this is the best I have come by. Hope it helps!

Eh, more or less common sense.

I generally make about 900g a day by buying gems off the ah, cutting them and reselling them.

Takes me about 20 minutes of logged-in time to do so.

Solid Sky Sapphire isn't the best gem to cut, I would start with Bold Scarlet Ruby (red gems are almost always worth more), and then get the other JC recipes later!

I might have to replace my Herbalism with JC'ing, togheter with my Inscription.. Would probably cost me more than I gain, without mining.. Probably worth giving it a shot! Could do it on my druid.

Thanks for the tips. I've noticed the Sovereign purple ones has high demand on my server, aswell as Runed spellpower ones. Will definately do this when/if I level it.

red gems own all other for money only other gem i can seem to sell for a reasonable ammount is the yellow ones (mainly int and resilience)

From my experience gems that sell on my server (Ahn Qiraj) are :

Bold , Delicate - Scarlet Ruby - Bright
Solid - Sky Sapphire - Sparkling
Steady - Forest Emerald - Seer , Dazzling
Veiled ,Inscribed - Monarch Topaz- Stalwart
Balanced - Twilight Opal - Defender,Regal;Shifting
Rigid -Autumn Glow - Brilliant ,Mystic,Quick

btw I dont have runed and crit one recipes on my char cause its not my main char

spam trade with "lf saronite farmer, spending x amount of gold"

you will get many whispers with people interested, i'm doing it with herbs to farm nobles.... 15 gold a stack of any herb and they cos +-30 on the ah!

There ARE more different ways of making more money, but considering this is a more passive way of making said cash, I thought that this + a combination of D/E'ing the rings and necks would provide a more optimal outcome with less downtime.

Now you're whining.
