How to win at mounted combat 99% of the time.

I've been having a lot of fun doing the Mastery of Melee daily quest that has you duel a valiant 3 times. This guide is also good for doing the Lace A Lot achievement that wants you to beat a valiant of every race. And just generally dueling your friends.

1. What you first going to want to do is stack up 3 defends 'number 4'.

2. Then talk to the valiant and get behind them and press. "I want to fight you" and then they will go towards the center in the arena.

3. Your going to watch to press '2' which is Shield Breaker. After the shield breaker hits them run at them and press '1' or Thrust while running.

4. Continue running and jump and turn with your mouse really quickly so you can get another shield breaker in and thrust while running at them.

5. then jump again when your far enough away from them and use charge. and thrust them again while your close.

continue running and basically repeat these steps 3-5.

Repeat till you win.

I've seen enough people in the tournament battlefield that don't know what they are doing at all. This is the same information I've told some people in my guild to help them out.

A leecher would have been flamed if the information was reposted or it was generally half assed. None of this is done in my post so even if a leecher did post it, he'd be praised (at least by me).

Your charge ability is better to use as your first move over shield breaker. Your charge takes off one of their shields and also does more damage, as well as sets you up for either a thrust if you run back to them, or for a shield breaker of your own. I normally end my fights with 40k+ ish life left from doing this. Just charge every time its off cooldown because it does the most damage.

Another tip, if you charge, keep tapping 1 while its doing it, you can fit in a thrust while your charging.

The only thing i'd suggest is opening up with a charge, thrust, spin, shieldbreaker thrust. otherwise looks fairly standard
