The Top 3 Places to Fish...

First off I want to name a place that has made me a ton of
gold while I was a very low level player.
The Deviate Fish in the Wailing Caverns and Forgotten Pools
are very easy to catch(level 50 with bait or 120 without).
They sell for about 10g on the AH.
They're used to make The Savory Deviate Delight, a treat that
turns you into a pirate or ninja for an hour. So it's a hot
seller for people of all levels who are wanting to stand out.

If You're Alliance you can still fish here in the Wailing
Caverns...inside the instance you won't get ganked.

Here's a place where you'll need a lot of fishing skill
a minimum base of 365 with +100 from an Aquadynamic Fish
Extractor and +20 or +25 from a fishing pole.
If your fishing skill is a 500 you won't get any Fish Got
Away messages.

That being said if you've got the skill and are ready to fish
catch some Furious Crawdad - Thottbot: World of Warcraft.

The best place for these will be the Fishing: Blackwind Lake - Thottbot: World of Warcraft. You'll need a flying mount or druid flying form
to make it up there.

If your skill isn't quite that high yet, there's more
good money makers. Coming in at number three are the
Golden Darter - Thottbot: World of Warcraft.
You'll need base fishing skill 300 or so for these don't
forget to add all your fishing skill addons.
The two best places for these are going to be
Fishing: Stonebreaker Hold - Thottbot: World of Warcraft
and
Fishing: Allerian Stronghold - Thottbot: World of Warcraft

Tip #1 is handy as it helps lower levels pick up a bit of gold, however the other two tips surely are no good anymore? I mean why would you farm Furious Crawdad and Golden Darter as they are for Pre-TBC food, heck I do not think anyone would even use them on their characters whilst leveling tbh.

Still tip #1 is good and I will use it on my alts.

Even if they're not a great way to make money, it DOES give you more skill points, which will let you fish in Northrend if you don't have enough already (moot point come 3.1, where you'll just end up fishing up trash until you get to the appropriate level), and you have a chance of fishing up Mr. Pinchy, which I would take over gold any day.

I still use the Deviate Fish spot whenever I don't feel like running instances, and even if it's common knowledge, it's a decent enough tip.

Pretty outdated. The best fishing spot is in violet hold, in dalaran. You can't get ganked and just set up lootfilter to delete everything besides the Eels. They sell for 60-80g a stack. use a fish bot and your makin a few hundred gold an hour.

as said b4 outdated but lil reminders dont hurt and just cause its out dated doesnt mean someone wont buy the stuff still there is always power lvling done and they need the stuff
