Hot and Cold - Faster

This is a little method to finish this quest faster. It will only work when Fjorn's Anvil is populated with people doing the same quest, and you'll probably get some hate from these people. Just a small disclaimer



If you don't have time/will/whatever to gather Essence of Ice for the Daily quest "Hot and Cold" you can get a resource tracker like Mr Track It (Credits to Nesox) and select "Track All" on the Resource Tracking sector.

Now you just have to wait for people to activate Smoldering Scraps. Once they do it, a yellow dot will pop on the minimap, and you can steal their Iron Scraps. You'd be surprised with the amount of people who use their essences and don't get the Scraps right away.

Just remember to have the quest on your quest log

This is, of course, stealing. If you're not OK with it, just gather Essence of Ice like everyone else :wave:

Nice, I normally do this to people I hate who are doing the quest in the same area... kind of dick to just do it to someone else, unless its the opposing faction of course.

I bet they could report you for it, or well, i donno you could just follow someone, great idea tho.

I really don't think you can get suspended doing this, but I've only done it a few times tho.
The only problem is getting ganked/flamed
