How to become infamous

Hello hello, im here to try and explain how to become a infamous person on your server, using my method both my characters were very well known on 2 servers for almost 2 years and 9 months i didnt even play.

There are a few things you can do to promote your leetness, one that worked best for me was starting new trends. Back in 2005 on dalvengry server i started a massive trend of linking [fiery waraxe] and catchy slogans.
Ex. "Ever come home to find your wife in bed with another man? and just so furious that you dont know what to do? well just grab a [fiery waraxe] and crit on 8==D"

that is somewhat how one of my slogans went and i got a 3 hour ban from it but people talked about it for like a week and started making their own and i got pms asking for weird stuff and also got some hate.
Just start somthing that will be remebered.



Another way is how my mage was pretty well known to everyone pre tbc.
Spirestone server there wasn't many guilds i would say probably 50-75 max
I guild hopped 95% of them, BUT i made my impression somehow and i think i might have caused like 4 or 5 to disband.
Just make yourself known to the community.

you actually make a creative selling slogan for your item, and that alone wont make you infamous you have to be social and know how people will react to certain things

Is guild hopping and making slogans(making yourself known) really going to ruin your rep?

I started a trend of people saying "Anal" and linking an item or spell after it. For example "Anal Sewer Carp." and people doing this "Last person to link [Legendary Item] in trade wins.....GO."

It's his thing clearly, on his server he made up slogans with Fiery Waraxe in them. On MMOwned he uses three colours in a sentance, everyone will know him for that!

Now, why you would want to be known for doing retarded things i don't know... However if you intended for this guide to help people get well known on their server, the best thing you can do is actually be an active part of the community.
