[Guide] Massively bump up bids on your auctions

Okey, I joined this site a while back and first now i remembered that i did, so I think its time to get active : p

This may count as a scam, but I can’t post in that section so i'll post it as a guide and if it doesn't belong here, maybe someone could move it? : ) thanks in advance.

Didnt find anything when i searched:

I found this a while back and it may be something people would like to know.

I was on my main and saw that someone had posted a really good item for a way to low price, so i bided on it. Almost instantly someone else bided over me and the same thing happened when i bided over him again. And since i had to go i got really angry so i lay a new overpriced bid, 700g on the item that was worth around 400g, and almost instantly again he bided over me : D I rofled and logged of happy ^_^

So how could we use this?:

    Things you'll need:
    1. 2 Accounts
    2. Some ingame money on account 2
    3. 1 item(or more) that a lot of people need and is worth some gold.

    How to:
    1. Post the item on the auction house for a really low bid price and no BO for short, 12 hours (or more depending on when you will be able to play, best way is to set the duration so that it should end at peak time)

For example: [Ace of Prisms] - 1g bid 12 hours

    2. When the auction is about to end, like 30 min before it ends, and when someone has bided on it, log on to account 2 and start bid on Account 1's auction.

    3. Someone will probably bid again and since there's only a short time left on the auction they will often go into frenzy and bid over you instant when you bid.

    4. This is where you attack : p when you see that this random guy is instant bidding over you with just 1g or something, you suddenly bid way overprice, like 600g for that item that is worth around 150g, and since this guy is sitting with the pointer over the bid button, waiting to be over-bided, he will probably just hit the bid button again before he realize that the bid has reached 600g. = ~450g profit.

Used this to get rid of some crap i didnt wanted, worked 4/5 times.
Set your phone to alarm or something so you remember to logg on and bid when the auction is about to end.

What if no one bid over when i overbid?
You will at most loose 10% which is the auction house cutoff of what you bided, which is 60g if you bided 600g

Hope someone find use of this : p

Why would you need two accounts, just 1 account and two items.

You can't bid on your own auctions. So you will need account 2 to bid on account 1's auction.

Actually more than you'd think, i overbided 2 times in a week just for fun when i realized you could make money with this. And in one week i actually succeeded 4 of 5 times. : ) People get to energized when they think they are about to get something cheap as hell. ^^

10% isn't much when you doesn't fail that much.

I made about 300-450g profit 4 times and failed once.

    Lets say 3*300 + 450 = 1350g
1350- 10% of 600g(bid) = 1290 extra gold and easier fast sold auctions.

Pretty common sense. Seen some people do this at auctions too. Get a buddy and make a little more cash.

    But, nontheless, good guide.
