[Megavideo] Time limit fix

Now this is common knowledge for alot of people, but recently I got bored and started watching episodes of shows online, megavideo is one of the better video hosts, but they have a lame time limit that can trigger anywhere from 15-1.5 hours after you start watching a video, that lasts 54 minutes before you can finish it... It's aggravating as hell.

So here's how you fix it.

Go to start, all programs, find accessories, then open up command prompt.

In command prompt type in Ipconfig /release

Wait about 30 seconds then type in Ipconfig /renew

Your dynamic IP should have changed, you can refresh your browser and continue watching your movie/show.

Like I said this is pretty common knowledge for alot of people, but for those that arn't aware, it's a nice workaround.
This doesn't always work.. for whatever reason sometimes your ip doesn't change for a few tries.. just be patient and give it a little longer before refreshing.

Useless for people with a router as this will only reset your local ethernet connection.

Fix: Just unplug your DSL cable and reconnect. Wait for your router to go online again and then watch your show.

Note: If your internet supplier gives you a fixed IP then even that won't work!

For people with fixed IPs and routers...

Goto your base station address. E.g. mine is 192.168.2.1

Your password is usually admin.

Find your MAC Address(where you can edit it). Mine is in the "Wide Area Network" settings.


Change a few characters in your MAC address then click apply. You will be disconnected from the internet. Unplug your modem for about 5 minutes then plug it back in.
You should have a different IP.

When you unplug your dsl box you're doing the same thing as ipconfig... the only difference is you have to wait for your dsl to reboot... instead of just waiting for your computer to reconnect to your dsl.
