How to get 5 extra mounts for that 50 mounts Achievment!

The Trash mobs in AQ40 drop blue rare mounts wich only can be used in AQ40 itself. Even though they can only be used in AQ40, they still count as 'a mount'! That means that you can get 4 mounts with ease! Becouse they are not that rare. Just go in AQ40 and kill trash mobs, every avarage 80 can do it.

The mounts come in several colors: blue, red, green, and yellow

yeah but to get red mount u need to kill like 100 of those mobs that drop

I got blue and green in two kills and in 100+ no red

BTW 1 tip. Those mobs are in AQ40 all u need to do is kill those 3 at start ( before 1st boss ) exit AQ40, go into AQ20 kill few mobs and enter AQ40 and they will re spawn again...

note the "big guardians" is the ones with highest droprate, so what I did when getting these 5 mounts (took about 2-3hours I guess)
I cleared thoes 2 groups +single pats pre-1st boss, w8ed 15min for them to respawn(yes they respawns that fast) and redo it, ofc some mounts will drop more then once, but overall it should not take that long.
droprate is about 10-15% I guess from thoes "big" ones, other trash in there has like 0.5-1% droprate

well u cant have black mount ( it was only once during the opening event of AQ40 ) its one time only, and i think that one can be use outside AQ.

I can easily kill those bird like things as feral druid, but have some trouble with 4 guardians ( dont know their name )....

the 3 big guys in the entrance i used to farm on my prot pala when i just hitted 80 it was cake took me about 20 mins to get green/yellow/blue. All the mobs inside AQ40 have a roughly 15%~17% droprate while only a few types in AQ40 have a <1% droprate for the red mount. I know that the 1 patrol that comes in the first room can drop it, i had i after 3weeks of sollid farming takin a guildy with me every time who wanted to other mounts.

To farm the first room with a prot pala or maby any other classes only tried with a palla. Just kill 3 out of the 4 guardians and leave 1 of the pack allive. This is very important that you leave him alive. Now you just run out and go back in. This will make the pack reset and get you 4 guardians again BUT the corpses are still there. When you are soloin these mobs keep in mind that whenever you kill 1 the other 3 will gain their buffs so if you kill the thorns bloke they will all get thorns untill you reset them

Yes you can. On new realms, where the gates haven't been opened. That's how some Death Knights got it.
