Easy As 1-2-3. Make Money Fishing!

This is my first attempt at contributing to the site. Basically this guide is to show you how, with minimal effort, make a ton of money selling fish or the raid food that you can make.
I know there's lots of fishing guides and whatnot, but I want to make mine easy to read and able to be used by anyone.
EXPERT TIP: If you "/sleep" while fishing you can go prone and are much harder to see. Especially if you're in the water.

    Step 1: Prep
    1. Download http://www.mmowned.com/forums/bots-p...sh-v1-0-a.html
    2. Download Loot Filter
    3. Set up Mr. Fish It like so:
    4. As an added precaution, I'd recommend renaming Mr. Fish It to something like Firefox.exe or soemthing similar.
    5. Run WoW and log into your character. Type "/lf" to bring up the Loot Filter options. Click the "Name" button.
    6. Set Up your Keep and Delete lists like so:

      "Keep" List:
      Code:
      #(.*) gold coin$
      Darkwater Clam
      Deviate Fish
      Dragonfin Angelfish
      Fangtooth Herring
      Glacial Salmon
      Glassfin Minnow
      Imperial Manta Ray
      Moonglow Cuttlefish
      Musselback Sculpin
      Nettlefish
      Pygmy Suckerfish
      Delete List:
      Code:
      #(.*) catfish$
      #(.*) copper coin$
      #(.*) silver coin$
      #(.*) vial$
      Barrelhead Goby
      Bonescale Snapper
      Borean Man O' War
      Deviate Scale
      Fountain Goldfish
      Lesser Healing Potion
      Lesser Mana Potion
      Magic Eater
      Raw Brilliant Smallfish
      Raw Longjaw Mud Snapper
      Sewer Carp

NOTE: If you don't want to toss your Bonescale Snapper, then simply remove "Bonescale Snapper" from the Delete List. I would recommend tossing it because it is extremely common and will most likely take up most of your bag space. Doesn't sell very well either.

Step 2: Where Do I Fish?
The reasoning for these locations is to not make yourself look so obvious, and to make you not a sitting duck, ripe for ganking, on a PvP Server. The fish I have chosen to list are the ones that are the most profitable (cooked and uncooked).

    Borean Tundra (38.56, 83.20)

    What can I catch here?
    Bonescale Snapper
    Musselback Sculpin
    Imperial Manta Ray
    Darkwater Clam

    Borean Tundra (32.92, 66.64)

    What can I catch here?
    Deep Sea Monsterbelly
    Moonglow Cuttlefish
    Rockfin Grouper

    Sholazar Basin (19.59, 60.62)
This one is inside the sunken ship.

    What can I catch here?
    Nettlefish

    Dragonblight (11.28, 44.15)
This one is behind the huge waterfall.

    What can I catch here?
    Bonescale Snapper
    Musselback Sculpin
    Dragonfin Angelfish

    Grizzly Hills (21.32, 24.3
Right outside the entrance to DTK

    What can I catch here?
    Glacial Salmon
    Fangtooth Herring

The Barrens (Pond In The Cave Outside Wailing Caverns)
If you look at my screen shot, I tried to draw up a diagram of how to get to a nice ledge that you can sit on out of sight.

    What can I catch here?
    Deviate Fish

    Step 3: Profit and Enjoy
You can either A) Sell the fish as is or B) if your cooking is high enough you can cook the fish into buff foods and almost double your money.

Hmmm, not bad, not bad. Even tho this is pretty much "common sence" imo, i guess it would help some people that are new at fishbotting to get started etc.

And if you are a REAL newbie at fishbotting, Devaite fish can be caught in Wailing Caverns (Barrens)

And in my opinion, you should cook Deviate Fish (If thats what you are pharming) And if its some other fishies, then check the AH on your server, find out how to optimize your money-making. Fishing is something that almost no one is doing, therefore its only you and the other fishbotters that does it, aloowing you to gain a little bit more control of the AH. I for example is dominating the Savory Deviate market on my server. If you fishbot in Outlands its a lot of people that's leveling or is trying to set up their fishbot (And because they want to dominate the market they will ofc report you so they got one less person to care about)
So anyways, what I'm trying to say here is; You should go for Deviate if you are going to fishbot.

    A) This is something everyone from 1-80 benefits from.

    B) It sells for 8g per piece (Giving you a nifty income of about 800g/hour if u get it all sold, most likely you wont. And note: This is what it sells for on my server. This depends on what server you are playing on.)

    C) You wont have to 1) Farm for your Pirate Costume (Even tho the pirate costume + Title is a little cooler, but takes a hell lot of effort). 2) You will probably never have to buy Deviate's again.

Well, this is my point of view. You choose yourself what you want to fish, ofc fishbotting in Outlands CAN give more money, but the chance of a report is about 10 times as high.

    Guess you deserve a +Rep then :>

Give me a bit and I will add Deviate Fish. Totally slipped my mind. I originally was just going to make this Northrend Fish, but yes Deviate Fish Sell like crazy.
And yes this is definitely common sense, but unfortunately common sense is the least common of all the senses

AFAIK this uses a third party program or "hack" so it doesnt really belong in this section

It's a guide. It's in the right section. You could very easily do this without the fish bot. The bot just makes everyone's life easier

The fish bot is not mine, direct any problems to the proper thread
