    Vanity Items

There are some items in Wow, that players will pay a big amount of gold in order to have them. They aren’t really any useful, but they either are fun to have or make you look cool. If you get some of these drops they can really speed up your gold gathering.
    • Orb of deception - Transforms caster to look like a member of the opposing faction. Sells for at least 200g. http://www.wowhead.com/?item=1973#dropped-by:0-9+1
    • Blood elf bandit mask – These masks drop from stealthed blood elves in Azuremyst. It's about a 10% drop rate, and there is only one blood elf at a time. They sell for around 15-30g. http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=17591
    Parrot Cage (Hyacinth Macaw) http://www.wowhead.com/?item=8494#dropped-by

I've read this tip somewhere else... And your missing a few things to make this a guide.. Like:

    How do we get these?
How easy/hard are they to farm?
    How much money per hour?

    etc

Good luck finding the parrot.Orb of deception has about 13% to drop from a rare that spawns every 6 hours and shares the spot with another rare that has 5% im guessing you gotta be pretty lucky to farm the orb

only the orb of deception is really worth farming but in order to get it you better have good gear cause there are usually a couple of ppl waiting for the respawn and they will sit around the arena and gank you as soon as you enter.... so basically who ever has the most time to sit there gets it

    Maps

I know this is a dead thread, but to anyone who still wants to know...

Well, this is the route I take for if I'm bored enough to farm Blood Elf Bandit Masks:

Farming Tip: The bandits like to hang out near those light posts along the paths, make note to go near them. Also, they are invisible, so keep an open eye.

During the most southwest region of the route, yes, you walk across a field, and at one point you do cross water, just to try and clear up any confusion. It's a very easy route, seeing as though everything is under level 10 or so. I get 1 mask every 4 or 5 kills, even though wowhead says drop rate is 10%.

I personally wouldn't attempt to farm up an orb of deception, especially because of the spawn rate and drop rate combo, but. The highest drop rate is by Skarr the Unbreakable [13%] in Feralas. He is an ogre, for the record. The second highest drop rate is The Razza [5%] also, in Feralas. He's a chimera, and looks just like those big birds out in winterspring. [Attn to hunters, he's tameable, but you have to have the last skill in Beast Master to tame him]

    They both spawn here:
