Introduction


After getting good feedback for my last guide http://www.mmowned.com/forums/world-...ids-arena.html, I decided to write a second guide for 2v2 Arenas.
This guide will be slightly different from my last one because I don't need to write so much. It will be a video-guide, so don't expect too much text

The Druid


Everything I wrote about the stats, the gems, enchants and gear in general stays the same. You can and should use the gear you would wear in 3on3 arenas. The only difference between 2on2 and 3on3, espacially in this comp, is that you need to play VERY offensive and therefore need a more offensive spec
This is the spec im currently using: Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft
You just need Insect Swarm and the extra burst! For glyphs: take Swiftmend, Insect Swarm and Barskin!
Professions: In my last guide I said that there isn't much difference between the different professions but this doesn't count for druid rogue. The hand-mounted pyro rocket is the extra burst that can win you games. If you didn't have professions right now, keep that in mind

The Rogue


The comp is based around switches, cc chains and massive burst combined with lockdowns. We think that mutilate is way better than shadowstep-spec because you will often zerg melees.
This is the spec my rogue partner is currently using: Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft
For glyphs take:
- Glyph of Mutilate Glyph of Mutilate - Item - World of Warcraft
- Glyph of Sprint Glyph of Sprint - Item - World of Warcraft
- Glyph of Vigor Glyph of Vigor - Item - World of Warcraft
- Glyph of Vanish (Minor Glyph) Glyph of Vanish - Item - World of Warcraft
The 10 extra energy is really gamebreaking as you will switch and restealth a lot.

For gear: Wear the normal PvP set and take PvE-rings from the ashen verdict and ICC if you can. You can also wear one piece of PvE as you will only need the 4pt bonus of the set. If you have gamebreaking PvE gear, use it or ask here if you should and keep in mind that you should have about 1k resilience
Professions: Engineer and Jewelcrafting!


The comp in general

You're going to play very offensive nearly all the time, even if you're under pressure. The comp is very strong when it comes down to cc chains. Cyclone, roots, bash, (warstomp), sap, blind, kidney shot, cheap shot, garrote, gouge and kick. You normally won't win games on mana, even if you CAN outlast a team.
You will win your games with switches and burst phases while the healer or the dd is cc'ed. I think the best would be if I just show videos because they tell more than 1000 words.

We started playing last week so it will take some time until I've got enough clips. Please keep in mind that rendering and uploading also takes some time and I need to choose good clips atm I've got only 2 clips against Mage Priest but I've allready rendered Druid Lock and have some other clips on my HD. Also: It seems that some clips lag in the first 1-2minutes..I don't know why but I will check how I can fix this issue If nothing works I'm gonna go back to fraps

Thanks for the positive feedback again I'm happy to help you guys. I'm gonna upload Rogue Druid vs. Lock Druid (because it will take 270min) and meanwhile I'm rendering Druid Rogue vs Pala Warrior and Rogue Druid vs Priest Hunter (this will be up tomorrow,too )
If atleast one of these two clips starts lagging again, I'm going back to fraps

Please be patient, rendering the video takes about 30 to 120 minutes per video, depending on size you can add about 30min to 5hours of upload time so I sometimes have to do that over night
