[Gold Farming] Easy Grinding Location (68+)

In northeast Storm Peaks, there is a cave of elementals called


Scion of Storm (for the quest of the same name)
Scion of Storm - NPC - World of Warcraft





When I stand here:


This is what I'm looking at:


When they die, they buff you with Zephyr, which gives you a 50% movement increase which speeds up your grinding even further. Most of them are flying, it's better to use a ranged weapon/ability to pull them.

This was the best farming spot for Eternal Air I've seen outside of Wintergrasp... but with MUCH less interruption. In fact, I've been farming here for about a week and have seen one person come inside the cave... and its a huge cavern full of these mobs.

The mobs drop:
Crystallized Air
Relic of Ulduar
Grey crystals that sell for a little over 3g a stack.

They have a good respawn rate and very few people go that far north.

I've made about 600-800g/hr farming here.

Ehm, btw its cool enouth tho, but this is a repost of my own post about this spot, + the spot inside the cave there is also marked on your map. Thats the one with the fire eternal mobs

Btw it is a good spot xD but 800g/hr is toooo much

its about 400-500g depending on the prices on your server.

600-800 was my personal findings, so it's definitely possible because well... i did it. o.O Obviously things like kill rate effect/serverprice will effect the amount of gold per hour you're putting out.

If this was a repost I apologize and yes, it's meant to say 78+. haha

Edit: The fire elemental spot posted about earlier is NOT the same cavern I'm talking about. I did farm that spot too and it wasn't nearly as good due to the size of the cave. I'll take some pictures when the server comes back up.

EDIT: My circle was in the wrong spot after going back... map being updated!

Place is just really odd... because there's no indication on the map whatsoever about it being there... it's just... there. The minizone is entitled "Howling Hollow".

Well, im 5/5 valorous enha sham with 2 best weps ingame my kills is around every 3-5 second on level 78 mobs, and i manage to make 400-500g an hour, but it also depense on the population of your server, my server is highly populated and the prices seems exstremly over priced on other servers in my eyes.

But anyway, every person have there way to make best money, and it all matters to the prices of the specific item your farming.

Doubt you have the best in slot for enhance shammys, seeing as the MH has been proven to be the torch of holy fire.. which you would only get after every healer and caster dps.. But maybe your guild is open minded and lucky.

Sounds good, and I tried it, but atm it is 11:04 PM server time, and there was 3 alliance already farming those there. =S wth

good place, i personally made route in the cave for botting and tried it last night..got 28 x Eternal Air, 231 x Relic of Ulduar, 18 greens, 1 x blue meta pattern and alotalot of grey vendoritems.

It ran for about 6hours maybe.

Calculated that i did get around 300g / hour and that's jsut cause i were lucky!
Oh well, kinda neat place to farm, thanks for this.
