[GUIDE] Love is in the Air

I will try to make a guide for the "Love is in the Air" festival. After i will finish it, it won't be 100% complete but i will keep upgrade-ing it, as i will finish all my achievments.


In order to complete Fool for Love Achievment you need to complete 16 little more achievments and a chain quest. Here we go.

First of all, go to the first Inkeeper that comes across and buy: Cologne, Parfume and loads of Love Tokens. You will need them.

1. The chain-quest is easy to be done. You get it from OG (the 2 red-dressed orcs near the bank-mailbox). They will send you to Undercity. You complete the quest at a gut near the bank. He will send you to his pal, 2 feet away. Accept his quest. He will send you to a guy in the Aphotecarium Quarter. Talk to him. This one will send you near Tarren Mill. Here is the best pic I could find. . After you talk to the last guy, don't forget to click the cauldron. That is the final step of the chain quest. By completing this last quest you will unlock Nearest and Dearest

2. Be Mine! The bag can be gotten out of any pledge or gift of adoration. It has 10 charges and its possible to get the same candy more than once so good luck! Bags from last year work as well.

3. Fistful of Love All you have to do is Use a Handful of Rose Petals on each of the race/class combinations listed below.

* Gnome Warlock

* Night Elf Priest

* Tauren Druid

* Undead Warrior

* Draenei Paladin

* Human Death Knight

* Orc Shaman

* Troll Rogue

* Blood Elf Mage

* Dwarf Hunter

The petals drop out of Gifts of Adoration which can get gotten only once every hour. They don't bind so you can trade and mail these. Not sure if they're able to be auctioned, but since they have a duration I would doubt it.

You are also able to use the Bouquet of Red Roses to get credit for this achievement. Bouqet of Black Roses don't work.


4. Flirt With Disaster (H) Get completely smashed, put on your best perfume, throw a handful of rose petals on Jeremiah Payson and then kiss him. Sound easy. And it is. Jeremiah Payson is the c.ockroach vendor in Undercity. You can use any drink to get completely smashed, parfume from the inkeeper and rose petals from gifts.
4. Flirt With Disaster (A) Same sh.it different person. Sraaz is a gnome who wanders around the Great Forge in Ironforge selling pies.

5. Heartmender Mend 20 broken hearts with Unbestowed Friendship Bracelets. The Friendship Bands drop out of any Pledge or Gift of Adoration. Simply use them on someone that has the "Broken Hearted" debuff to get credit for this achievement.

6. I Pitied The FoolPity the Love Fool in:

* Wintergrasp

* Arathi Basin Blacksmith

* Naxxramas

* Battle Ring of Gurubashi Arena

* The Culling of Stratholme

Pity the Love Fool on the specified location. Make sure you are on the right spot! Right click the Love Fool to drop a love dummy on the ground. Then just target it and type: /pity. Keep in mind that it agro's surrounding enemies and might be destroyed by them.

6. Lonely? Join someone in Dalaran at their Romantic Picnic during the Love is in the Air celebration. Join someone at their Picnic to get this achievement, you can most likely use your own basket and more than 2 people at once can sit at the same basket. Piece of cake.

7. Lovely Luck Is On Your Side It appears that this is not a requirement for the overall Love Is In The Air achievement Fool For Love, whereas Perma Peddle is.

8. My Love is Like a Red, Red Rose Obtain a Bouquet of Red or Ebon Roses during the Love is in the Air celebration. Prince Keleseth drops a Bouquet of Ebon Roses. Don't know about the other one.

9. Nation of Adoration (H & A)
*Darnassus Gift Collection: a Box of Woodcrafts, a Darnassus Pledge
Collection, and a Stack of Cards. The Box is a combination of five Handmade Woodcrafts. The Pledge Collection is a combination of five Pledge of Loyalty: Darnassus. The Stack is a combination of five Sentinel's Cards.

*Ironforge Gift Collection: a Case of Homebrew, an Ironforge Pledge Collection, and a Parcel of Cards. The Case is a combination of five bottles of Dwarven Homebrew. The Pledge Collection is a combination of five Pledge of Loyalty: Ironforge. The Parcel is a combination of five Ironforge Guard's Cards.

*Stormwind Gift Collection: a Sack of Homemade Bread, a Stormwind Pledge Collection, and a Bundle of Cards. The Sack is a combination of five loaves of Homemade Bread. The Pledge Collection is a combination of five Pledge of Loyalty: Stormwind. The Bundle is a combination of five Stormwind Guard's Cards.

*Orgrimmar Gift Collection: a Box of Fresh Pies, an Orgrimmar Pledge Collection, and a Package of Cards. The Box is a combination of five Freshly Baked Pies. The Pledge Collection is a combination of five Pledge of Loyalty: Orgrimmar. The Package is a combination of five Grunt's Cards.

*Thunder Bluff Gift Collection: a Basket of Flowers, a Thunder Bluff Pledge Collection, and a Satchel of Cards. The Basket is a combination of five Freshly Picked Flowers. The Pledge Collection is a combination of five Pledge of Loyalty: Thunder Bluff. The Satchel is a combination of five Bluffwatcher's Cards.

*Undercity Gift Collection: a Book of Romantic Poems, an Undercity Pledge Collection, and a Sheaf of Cards. The Book is a combination of five Romantic Poems. The Pledge Collection is a combination of five Pledge of Loyalty: Undercity. The Sheaf is a combination of five Guardian's Moldy Cards.

10. Perma-Peddle Obtain a permanent Peddlefeet pet by procuring a Truesilver Shafted Arrow. haven't done it yet. Update incoming

11. Shafted! Simply target players and rightclick the Silver Crafted Arrow. Get this as reward from Gift Giving or any Gift of Adoration. Make sure the players dont have a pet out already!

12. Sweet Tooth! You can get a box of chocolates out of any Pledge of Adoration. One Box will drop more than enough for this achievement.

13. The Rocket's Pink Glare These can be gotten out of any pledge of adoration. However they only drop 5 at a time so you must get it twice before doing this achievement.

You can actually get the ebon roses from any of the following bosses
Maiden of Grief in Halls of Stone
Prince Keleseth in Utgarde Keep
Prince Taldaram in Ahn'kahet: The Old Kingdom

and the red roses should drop off of these boses
Princess Moira Bronzebeard in Black Rock Depths
Illyanna Ravenoak in Dire Maul West
Archivist Galford in Stratholme
Lorekeeper Polkelt in scholomance

nice guide, you should make the font smaller though and some of the spacing could be a little better but the content of the guide deserves a +Rep

As I posted on the other guide:

Your "Nation of Adoration" explanation is long and doesn't cover the things you need to do.

All it should state is "Wear perfume/cologne, talk to a Citizen (NOT Guard) in Ironforge, give them a Love Token and in exchange recieve a Gift of Adoration. Repeat for Darnassus and Stormwind."
