    Max Camera Distance, Easily

    To start off, I searched and didn't find anything. All the other threads like this involve going into your wow folders and changing everything, or a ''hack'' that changes it.

    Ok, so basicly this sets your camera distance to max very easily, it's a macro so I doubt it's banable.

    Here it is:

    /script SetCVar("cameraDistanceMax",30)
    I can confirm this works, I love using this. It has helped me a lot.


    Just felt like sharing, I don't know one person in my guild who knew about this macro.

    this is old, and i think since wotlk u can zoomout much more then pre wotlk...

    This command takes it way further than the interface options slider does. Try before you comment.

    Yeah this is useful on fights like Sarth or Maly where (as a tank) I need to see a wide area around me.

    It goes out to 50 btw. 30 isn't the max.

    But does it affect ur gameplay in anyway? such as decreased FPS, or decreased grafic details?

    yeah, it decreases fps and graphc details, sure

    Same as the script, but easier to memorize i think.

    The best way atm is to /console SET cameraDistanceMaxFactor "200"
