    [fps booster!]

    Increase Your Framerate Per Second

    Requirements
    :

    **1. Notepad
    **2. World of Warcraft (lol?)
    **3. A brain of level 1 (ha?)

    Procedures:
    **1. Open up notepad.
    **2. Copy and paste the following:

    @echo off
    cd /d "C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft"
    start /high WoW.exe

    **3. The default is up ^. If that is not where your wow folder / wow.exe is located then:

    @echo off
    cd /d "FOLDER PATH"
    start /high NAME.exe

    **4. File > Save as > WoW.bat
    **5. Move WoW.bat to your WoW folder (where the WoW.exe is located).
    **6. Always open WoW with the WoW.bat that you have created!
    **7. Start game and go to Video Options.
    **8. Turn off Vertical Sync.
    **9. Press the "enter" key and copy and paste (or type it):

    /console MaxFPS 400

    **10. Ctrl + r (if not binded) and check FPS to see if it improved!

    Information:
    **1. /high puts WoW on high priority.

    Ram Cleaner:
    *[When your computer feels slow or w.e. Then you need your ram cleaned. This can be done by restarting your computer or this simple method.]*
    **1. Open up Notepad.
    **2. Copy and Paste the following:

    FreeMem=space(64000000)

    **3. Save as RamCleaner.vbs
    **4. Double click RamCleaner.vbs and that's it!
    **5. Go back to playing WoW!

    Optional:
    **1. ~Jagris - "
    if you have wow in windowed small mode it runs alot faster
    ".
    **2. Oh and for additional info check out Michael93's Guide.

    Hope this thread helps!

    *[Hate it or love it, just ENJOY it!]*

    Running a game in high priority? That's the stupidest thing i've ever heard of.

    What this does is gives all priority to the game, meaning if you want to alt tab; Say hello to a extremely slow desktop. Turning off Vertical Sync may seem like a FPS boost, but who gives a shit. Running higher than your monitors refresh rate is redundant.

    You're going to get spikes in your FPS and in reality, result in a lower average FPS.

    Slow desktop? Sorry bud, but my laptop does not seem to be affected by this at all. I alt-tab often, in fact I am on alt-tab right now typing this up. Nothing slow at all. *note: laptop is old lol* Oh and before I tried this method i was getting around 20-30fps. Now it runs at around 80 and spikes down to 60-65 (lowest) at times. Well anyways, feel free to not use this method. =]

    Unless you are running a Dual/Quad Core you are going to experience major system performance issues. Walk into the middle of Dalaran (with your settings on above low, mind you) and try and do something.

    Kynox, almost all new systems now days are Dual core and up, Dalaran should never be a bench mark, and also add that if you have wow in windowed small mode it runs alot faster

    Introduce a little anarchy. Upset the established order, and everything becomes chaos. I'm an agent of chaos. Oh, and you know the thing about chaos? It's fair!

    Yeah, but as loccedout stated, he had an old laptop, which I highly doubt have those kind of specs, sure, I dual core could be possible, but definitely not a quad.

    Turning off Vertical Sync is a terrible idea... it cause random chop,.
    Not to mention screen tearing. Not everyone notices screen tearing cause they have no idea what it is, but its when you game is trying to display more frames than your monitors refresh rate.

    Vertical Sync makes it so you can not bypass the refresh rate of your monitor.
    Wasting your time costs you $15, wasting 24 other peoples time costs $360. Raid right or dont raid at all.

    My laptop is 3-5 years old and I consider it old lol... Well for V-Sync you can leave that off if you would like to... I keep it on, but I do not leave my laptop on for an extended period... like 3-5hrs is enough for me lol... But, I do not experience any random chops at all.
