This example uses 100 Helmets.
Disenchant info:
Infinite Dust (75% 1-5)
Greater Cosmic Essence (20% 1.5)
Dream Shard (5% 1)

75 x 3.5 = 262.5 (75 helmets became dust)
20 x 1.5 = 30 (20 became Essence)
5 x 1 = 5 (5 became Shards)

why 3.5?
if you get 1-5 then I'd use (1+5)/2=3...

Because in a messure of 1000 helmets that were DE'd into dust the avergae was 3.296.. (loads more decimals but yeah)
which is rounded Up to 3.5 rather then down to 3. Guess i should have posted that but yeah whatever :P
Tho 1-5 it should had been 2.5 but according to a few days of research these were my results

I'm always surprised by how incredibly high the prices for Greater Cosmics on other servers are... Just running for about 21-23g on my server.

Greater Cosmic has crashed on my server, prices dropping to around 15g.

Which is awesome because I bought 20, priced em up to 20g a pop and sold them in stacks of 10, easy

You just need to know your economy, when price drop, just hold onto the items.

I wish there was another item that could literally double your profit like this one has.

cosmics are only around 15g on my server, and cobalt is going for like 50g a stack (both ore and bars, can you fking believe that).

can anyone recommend another cheap product to craft thats relatively cheap and has a high % to DE into a greater cosmic?

I started off with about 8000gold, bought shitloads of cobalt ore / bars.

I've got over 35.000gold now and still over 2000inifinite dusts + 200greater cosmics!

Had a total of 7000Infinite and about 900Greater Cosmics a while ago, a bit hard to sell all of those mats, especially now that blizzard nerfed alot of the mats needed for enchants

Starting to save up another big bunch for 3.1.0, new epics, prices will go up! yay ^^

Spent 1100g on buying 600 bars (was no more on AH( and made 75 helmets.

Ended up with:

192x Infinite Dust
32x Greater Cosmic Essence
8x Dream Shard

Got another 7,000g to spend on bars. Going to try and use monopoly on cosmic \ dust for a while, but to dominate cosmic, don't I need to dominate lesser as well?

not at all ;P nobody cares for lessers on my server, and even if ppl do there always 12g each on my server atleast :P so there pretty muich the same
