Reduce your WoW ping! Tested and working

Hello, this is a trick to reduce your WoW ping by around 150ms

Go to regedit and find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters\Interfaces \

Then find the right interface which contains your IP address

Right-click in the right hand pane and add a new DWORD value, name it TcpAckFrequency, then right click the entry and click Modify and assign a value of 1.

Reduced my ping by around 150ms.

It's obvious you'll get -50 latency if you add the modification now.

It basically reduces the delay between packets which is very important for gaming.

I just went through that link and didn't find this:[/COLOR]

Go to regedit and find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters\Interfaces \

Then find the right interface which contains your IP address

Only a lot of other tips and tweaks. So my question is how will this help still?

Well PetRILJoe, it CAN help, first of all it depends on your OS, it also depends on your network card, you ISP and a lot of other stuff, generally it works, but you should never add values to the registry unless you, really, really, really....... Really know wtf your doing. By ****ing up a value you might **** your OS up, and need to reformat. So i suggest everyone trying to use this fix, would go read a little up on wich values NOT-TO-CHANGE, before someone change the wrong value .

Have fun with the fix, theres programs that fixes this without the person itself gotta make the value(less ****up change via programs) google up Faster ping.
