CJJs guide to making gold as a casual.

Well let me start off by apologizing for there being similar information in here to other threads. This is how I make gold as a casual player.

Im not sure about the rest of you but im lazy on wow. I work full time go to school and have a high maintenance gf. So I dont have alot of time to mess around with farming by. So here are some tips that ive been using.

1. Get a bot there are all kinds of reviews of bots I personally prefer Pirox been using it forever good community and hes readily available for any ideas or questions you have for him.

2. Learn To use your professions to make gold. I use Best Choices for Patch 3.3 of World of Warcraft - WoW Popular - Filter by All to see what people buy the most frequent and sell those.

3. Make friends with people of other professions. If your a miner/jcer find someone who can disenchant all the crap you make for you. If your botting you dont wanna flood the AH, sell to someone who buys in bulk.

4. Learn auctioneer. You dont have to buy and resell stuff all the time, learn to use the prospecting or disenchanting function to buy stuff easily.

5. Make good gold decisions. Dont buy pets!!!!! If you need crusader orbs and are thinking of using your triumph emblems on them DONT!!!! use the emblems on epic gems sell them and buy the orbs from someone else. Dont buy epic gear off the AH most of the time your paying someone a high percentage to craft something. Use trade and offer someone 10-50g to craft with your mats.

6. Dont make enemies on the toons you use to sell things. If you give someone 2k worth of mats to craft you something worth 4k pay them 100g tell them your using it and sell it on an alt.

7. Dont tell people how much gold you have. If your botting, farming or selling on the AH w/e it is they will watch where you are and try to copy or narc on you. Either that or they will constantly be asking for gold.

8. Learn to be sneaky/deceptive. Buy things from people in trade for a lot cheaper than what they go for on the AH. Someone says they will sell it for 8k its going on the AH for 10k tell them XXXXX is selling one for 7k youl buy it for 6.9. Worse case scenario they tell you to **** off or want up to 8k and you only make 2k.

9. Invest in large bags. I do randoms dailies etc collect full bags of random blues whites grays etc. If I unload my bags (once every day or so) I make upwards of 100g (Blues sell for at least 2-3 g each anything that doesn't stack usually sells for at least 1g and things that do are on average 3g+)

10.Think ahead. If titansteel bars are coming off cool down sell your stockpile or wait a couple weeks before you craft something. Dont get caught like me with 7k relics of ulduar when the patch hit to get rep from emblems.


None of what ive said above is anything terribly original but its all easy for any casual player to accomplish. The 2 huge ways imo to make alot of gold without spending alot of time are A. Get a bot and B. Best Choices for Patch 3.3 of World of Warcraft - WoW Popular - Filter by All

Isn't this like common sense? a lazy way would be fly & gather. Cus its not that risky compared to farm mobs @ ground level. But hmmm, good for un-knowing people i guess

its all common sense and it has all been said before. you shouldnt tell people not to buy pets becuase a lot of people only want money so that they can buy pets.
