I looked all around for a topic on the Deadly Saronite Dirk and found none.

Anyways heres the idea, since the new patch thats coming up is making mining like herbalism (being that you hit the node once and you get all the crap on the node) this MIGHT drop the prices of saronite ores and bars.

The Deadly Saronite Dirk costs 7 Saronite bars and 2 Crystalized Airs. They also have a 100% chance to become a Dream Shard.

Most of us have seen a price increase on Dream Shards over the past few days due to the patch notes. So hopefully this will bring profit.

I doubt an instant mining would even tickle the price of ores. The value of something isn't calculated by how long it taken to get, but by how much people want it and how much they're willing to pay for it.

Though the demand of in item is based on its need... it is also effected by its difficulty to obtain.. because if these items are harder to get, less people will farm them... and if less people farm them, prices go up because there is less on the AH at a time
