39 Rogue Twink Guide
Race
Alliance:
Human = Night Elf > Gnome = Dwarf
* Human: Every Man for Himself (2 min cooldown) works like your PvP trinket, it can remove any form of crowd control. It shares its cd with your PvP trinket though, so there's no use having it equipped. Perception helps against other rogues and druids, sword expertise is very nice too if you're hemo.
* Night Elf: Shadowmeld (2 min cooldown), kind of works like an extra vanish so it's needless to say this is a very powerful racial. The extra nature resistance helps against druids, shamans and poisons. You also get a small passive stealth buff.
* Gnome: Escape Artist (1 min 45 sec cooldown) breaks movement impairing effects. The extra arcane resistance helps against polymorph etc.
* Dwarf: Stoneform (3 minute cooldown) grans immunity to poisons, bleeds and diseases and it adds 10% armor for 8 seconds. Not too shabby imo. The extra frost resistance is nice too.
Horde:
Orc = Blood Elf = Undead > Troll
* Orc: Blood Fury (2 min cooldown) will grant you 158 AP on demand which gives a pretty nice burst potential. Hardiness provides a 15% duration reduction on stuns which is worthless in my opinion.
* Blood Elf: Arcane Torrent (2 min cooldown) will grant you +15 Energy AND an AoE silence. Couple that with 2% resistance against all magic schools and you've got yourself one of the strongest rogue races.
* Undead: Will of the Forsaken (2 min cooldown) breaks fear and seduce effects. There are plenty of warlocks/priests and warriors in the 39 bracket so this will always come in handy. Cannabalize doesn't grant you that much health really, but it'll surely piss off some of your opponents. The 2% Shadow resistance also adds another thing to your anti-warlock arsenal.
* Troll: Berserking grants you 10% (at full health) -->30% (under 40%) increased attack speed. I'd say the Orc racial is much better, atleast you don't have to be dying to put it to good use. The -15% duration on slows ain't too amazing either, but you do get extra stylepoints for rolling a troll.

39 Rogue Twink Enchants
Head:
If you want to learn more about the head enchants listed here then feel free to check out Drayner's libram library
Lesser Arcanum of Constitution
Lesser Arcanum of Voracity
Shoulder:
Might of the Scourge (Only usable on a BoE item, I suggest Flintrock Shoulders)
Zandalar Signet of Might (Only usable on a Heirloom item, I suggest Stained Shadowcraft Spaulders)
Cloak:
Enchant Cloak - Greater Agility
Enchant Cloak - Stealth (You can use this on your second cloak when you're up against other stealthers, as getting the first hit is crucial)
Chest:
Enchant Chest - Exceptional Stats
Enchant Chest - Exceptional Health
Wrist:
Enchant Bracer - Assault
Enchant Bracer - Fortitude
Main Hand Weapon:
Enchant Weapon - Mongoose
Enchant Weapon - Major Striking (Go with this for your dagger if you're going backstab/ambush)
Off-Hand Weapon:
There's a lot of debate about this one, some prefer a second Mongoose on their off-hand, some prefer +20 agility. It's just a matter of preference so you can't go wrong here.
Enchant Weapon - Mongoose
Enchant Weapon - Greater Agility
Ranged:
Sniper Scope
Gloves:
Unless you're planning to specialise into Combat - which will net you +5% hit from talents - I suggest Precise Strikes. It's better to focus on +hit until you reach the 5% required for special attacks. (you need ~30 hit rating at lvl 39 to reach the cap)
Enchant Gloves - Precise Strikes
Enchant Gloves - Superior Agility
Legs:
Nethercleft Leg Armor (Can only be applied to a BoE leg item, in this case Basilisk Hide Pants)
Nethercobra Leg Armor (Can only be applied to a BoE leg item, in this case Basilisk Hide Pants)
Feet:
Enchant Boots - Surefooted
Glyphs
You can use two Major Glyphs and one Minor Glyph.
Major:
Glyph of Eviscerate (If you're hemo, this is a nobrainer, get it)
Glyph of Garrote (use this Glyph or the Hemo Glyph as your second major, it's just a matter of personal preference)
Glyph of Hemorrhage
Glyph of Backstab (If you're specced for Backstab/Ambush you can use this Glyph instead of either of the above)
Minor:
Glyph of Vanish (Best minor Glyph there is)
Talent Specialisations
The talent specs linked here are solid and you'll perform well with them on your rogue. You can always make your own adjustments if you wish to do so.
Hemo is no doubt the strongest spec, but it might be fun to go Stab stab once in awhile!
Hemo:
4/0/26
6/0/24
Backstab:
28/0/2
Professions
Engineering:
Catseye Ultra Goggles is good vs other stealthies and requires engineering to use. Other notable items includes the infamous Iron Grenade, you can use them while moving and they have a wide range.
At 225+ you get the option to specialize into Goblin or Gnomish Engineering. Gnomish Engineering offers the greater number of odd devices, such as the Gnomish Death Ray. Goblin offers a greater variety of explosives, such as Goblin Sapper Charge and The Big One. Most of the goblin engineering items do not require goblin engineering to use, so if you can find a goblin engineer willing to make you the specialized goblin explosives, get gnomish engineering for the bop trinkets.
Jewelcrafting:
The useful thing about Jewelcrafting is that the trinkets don't require jewelcrafting, so you can craft them and drop it to free a professions slot. You should try and get the following trinkets:
Figurine: Golden Hare
Figurine: Black Pearl Panther
If you're planning to keep Jewelcrafting, there's one useful consumable:
Dense Stone Statue
It heals for 50 every second, for a total of about 1200 health (24 second duration). These statues bind on pickup, so you can not have someone else make them for you. These are not as vital as the engineering consumables, so you may wish to drop jewelcrafting after getting the trinkets.
Tailoring:
Only one notable consumable:
Netherweave Net
Gathering Professions
There are no level requirements to train a profession, so you can get 450 in any of these provided you are able to explore the areas you need to without leveling. It is highly recommended that you get at least one of these skills to max (probably one, since engineering is just that good)
Note that this is just a review of the gathering professions, not a leveling guide. If that's what you're looking for head over to Warbay's 1-450 Gathering Professions guide
Herbalism:
Gives an extra ability in the form of a 5 second self HoT on a 3 minute cooldown. Rogues are all about cooldowns, so I recommend Herbalism over Mining.
Rank 1 (75 skill): 300 healing
Rank 2 (150 skill): 480 healing
Rank 3 (225 skill): 720 healing
Rank 4 (300 skill): 900 healing
Rank 5 (375 skill): 1200 healing
Rank 6 (450 skill): 2000 healing
Mining:
Gives a passive bonus to your health pool. A smaller bonus than herbalism, but still quite effective.
Rank 1 (75 skill): 3 Stamina
Rank 2 (150 skill): 5 Stamina
Rank 3 (225 skill): 7 Stamina
Rank 4 (300 skill): 10 Stamina
Rank 5 (375 skill): 30 Stamina
Rank 6 (450 skill): 50 Stamina
Skinning:
Gives a passive bonus to your critical strike rating.
Rank 1 (75 skill): 3 rating
Rank 2 (150 skill): 6 rating
Rank 3 (225 skill): 9 rating
Rank 4 (300 skill): 12 rating
Rank 5 (375 skill): 18 rating
Rank 6 (450 skill): 32 rating
If I were you, I'd level jewelcrafting first to get the trinkets. Then drop jewelcrafting and level herbalism as your 'first' profession. You can pick either skinning, mining or engineering as your second profession. It's up to you.
Hope it's gonna help someone out there!
