[Guide] 10 Tips to avoid gold issues!

Okay, so I just started playing on a new realm a few weeks ago and my friends go like "wtfomgwthZ0rD!" when I tell them I'm level 51 with 600g and I only have 4days /played... I'm sure there are tons of people around there you can do much better then this I know, but still, I'm here to make a small guide with a few tips that hopefully will help you out at leveling your character without having any gold issues.

1st- Before starting leveling you character I really suggest you to download a In-Game Leveling Guide, this actually saves you ALOT of time if you still a little "green" to WoW, right now I'm using Zygor's guide, with you can download here:

2nd- The key word for "Gold Issues" are bags, soon has your able to gather some gold buy yourself 16 slot bags, they only cost around 5g at AH! Try to get some borrowed gold from a friend or something, but get those bags soon has you can.

3rd- Something hard to pick is normally the professions, but for some fast gold there are actually only 3 options :

[Skinning+Mining]
[Skinning+Herbalist]
[Mining+Herbalist]

My favorite is [Skinning+Mining], but I actually advice you to check the AH prices and pick the one that gives you the most expensive mat's. You also can level those profs without having to waste any gold at all ~ all you need is a mining pick and a skinning knife

4th- Loot everything, YES! EVERYTHING! NPCs are dumb, they actually buy all the trash you want to sell, so make sure to give them all you trash items! All the mats and green items go to the AH! Make sure you put all your green items for at lest 1g, even level 10 greens! People actually buy them so make sure to sell them

5th- DON'T waste gold at the AH! If you need gear just do a few quests or get a group for an instance! So don't be silly and don't even think about wasting 100g with an epic weapon that you will use for like ... 10 levels?... its a waste!

6th- Epics and Rare items? AH with them! Yes its true that you might use them, but the question is... for how long? Leveling on this game with a good guide its really easy! Once you go to outlands you can say good bye to all your imba epics and rare items because the greens from the quests are much better!

7th- BG's ~ forget them. If you want to do BGs wait to become level 51 and do a few AV's for the weapon reward ~ it actually might be worth of it ... before that, just forget about it, you'll have tons of time to farm honor once you hit level 70.

8th- Warlocks and Loladins ~ about the epic mount quests! Think twice before you actually start those! In some realms buying one epic mount from the npc and learning the mount skill can be much more cheaper then doing those quests! For them you need tons of items that you can actually be sold for tons of gold at the AH, so do your math's before starting those quests.

9th- Addons ~ Auctioneer is a MUST! Don't even think about playing WoW without this cute little addon <3! it helps ALOT when your selling your items at the AH, so make sure you download this addon and make a full scan to the AH with it.

10th- Something that helps alot at leveling its the Inn, make sure you put your character inside the Inn every time you log out for a huge amount of time. By leaving your character at the Inn or just inside a major town it will become "rested", making you earn double exp from mobs!


Most of these tips are actually common sense, but the truth is if you just follow these you can actually hit level 70 and buy yourself one epic F.mount without problems at all ~ I hope you enjoyed this little guide and that it actually helps

i love zygors guide.
im playing a ret pala now lvl 58 5 days played with many instanze runs and pvp.
i recommend skinning and mining/herbalism, and not mining and herbalism because there are 2 tracking spells and its annoying to switch them all the time.
