Alot of people have prolly posted something similar but I didnt feel like sifting through 7000 posts to find it lol.... I have made a fortune from farming both Thick Clefthoof Leather and Cobra Scales... The best place I have found for farming Cobra Scales is near Twilight Ridge in Nagrand... They seem to have the best drop rate for the scales... You can also farm them north of the Aldor FP in SMV along with Air Elementals for double the money

Thick Leather sells for a boat load on my server too. Get a skinner and go to Sunken Temple, drop down into the Dragon room, kill away there, you can usually get 2-3 stacks of Thick Leather, stuff sells for 20 gold a stack some times. Stupid yes, but probably a little easier for some people
