    [Guide] Character Naming.

Okay, I've searched for this around the forum and all I found was guides to change our nickname and stuff alike. Why am I doing such a "pointless" guide? Well, how much time do you take to freaking find a nickname for you character? For real, this can take years! and even after you giving your character a nickname you'll prolly get sick of it after level 10! So the point of this guide is to find ourselves a original nickname that we actually enjoy for our own characters.
Some people normally use nicknames "omfgipwnalot", but seriously ... what kind of fkcing name is that?!?! I do know most of kewl names are taken, but for real ... no need to give him such a dumb name :/ Also in the end people won't even call you that, they will just say "Hey omfg how are you?" .... so if your are in a need of a nicknames, my advice is to take one of the 4 following options.

    Option 1 - Japanese Names.

In my opinion Japanese names are the best! First because most of them are not taken, second you can easily change it if its taken, like : Densetsu (Legend), if you like that nick but if its taken you can just change it to "Densetso", that might be available and still sounds kewl! You can also bet that no one will bitch you because you got a "typo" on your nickname. Japanese names, well at lest most of the Japanese names always sounds pretty cool kewl, even if it means the most dumb shit in the earth or even if you have no fking clue what it means ... it sounds cool. If you also like this Japanese names things I suggest you to use this list here: 50 Popular Kanji (1)
Trying to find real people names such has Akiko, Sakura, Kasumi ... its useless, all of those are taken, and you'll prolly even find stuff like "darksakura", "kawaiiakiko"... with are just ew.

    Option 2 - Latin Names.

Another suggestion is Latin! Yes, Latin names! They are sexy and no one almost use them! Like this, you want to make a rogue ~ but you want a evil name for pvp! So how about catastrophe? Thats what rogues do right? They show up from no where killing everyone, so you just go for the name catastrophe! BUT! once you press okay ..... "That nickname is already fcking taken!"!, but no worrys, cause you can always go for the Latin! Is a dead language, in other words no one freaking uses it anymore, with means you prolly wont ever find someone with such a nickname, so instead of naming you character "catastrophe", you name it Katastrophé, with, in my personal opinion sounds ALOT better then Catastrophe.
If you like the latin names you can just check the following link for Latin words, if your looking for something that you can't find in this list I suggest you to try a Latin->English translator software : Latin word list

Option 3 - Mother Language Word Games.

Besides this there are still another options you can use, if your mother language is not English, you should use that for your own self profit. Just like my brother does, we are from Portugal, so to name his own characters my brother just make these little game of words with the Portuguese language creating new original nicknames, that everyone will prolly find it pretty cool ... or at lest until they find the true meaning of it, just like : Nukuzito, sounds kewl hum? Let's split it now ... Nu-Ku-Zito, turning this to the real Portuguese ... No cuzinho, with means "In The Ass" (-zinho, its used to say that its something small, in other words that ass is small.).

Option 4 - Random Objects Words.

The last thing I use (just when I'm rly desperate) its to grab random objects with words on it .... just like this:

*grabs a batteries box* ..... *reads the stuff on it*
Possible names: "Alkaline", "Ante", "Cadmium", "Ricaricare", "Uguali", etc.

I hope this guide its any useful for any of you guys, please enjoy

    Option 5
Randomly spam your buttons in your keyboard and remove the letter until the name is smaller than 5 letters.
    Example: fehezapakafpiokal

    Feheza What a great name!

    Nice post anyways :P

gogo add lore names and names in the character's language. For example, my NElf hunter's name means hunter of the moon in elvish.

Uh.... Catastrophe is actually a very Greek word.

    κατα (kata)- Under, or reverse
    στρεφειν (strephein)- To turn

Nice post, though I personally like to use names in relation to the class. For example, a druid used to be a big part of the Celtic religion, so I named my druid Keltic.
This is put together well, though...+rep
