[EASIER LEVELING] How to take the shiny pvp trinkets even if world pvp is dead

First of all before you enter outland don't miss this trinket coming from an easy quest line between Felwood and Winterspring

The quest line starts here

I see many people leaving their trinket slots empty until outlands and it's very sad if you consider how easy to acquire is the trinket and how good it is (expecially the melee one will last until nagrand and over)


Now back in topic; want one of these babies?

They are the best trinkets you can acquire for leveling in outlands and they can have their uses also at lvl 70 for the daily gold grinding.
The currency used to buy them is different between Alliance and Horde:

They can be acquired by killing enemy players near the pvp objectives in zangarmarsh or in hellfire peninsula and are sold in zangarmarsh by two different battlemasters in the cities of each faction

Another way of getting marks is completing a daily quest in hellfire peninsula which awards 3 marks and consists of conquering Broken Hill, The Stadium and The Overlook
Hellfire Fortifications (horde)
Hellfire Fortifications (alliance)

On low pop server taking all the 30 marks for your trinket can take ages, mainly because not many people knows about them and don't care about pvping..
But this is MMOwned and that's the twist:

grab another player from the opposing faction and kill each other for 30 times near the pvp objectives!
That's it! Accounting the corpse runs won't take more than 1 hour and half! pretty fast eh

how do you recruit your friendly hordie or allie?

- on pve servers your task will be easier.. just create a lvl1 toon on the opposite faction and run to the capital city, from there start spamming channel with the link of those trinkets saying that you're looking someone interested in getting them VERY EASILLY and in less than 1 hour.. in case nobody answers just use /who Hellfire and you'll get the list of people playing in HFP ready to be whispered by you

- on pvp servers will be harder.. but not THAT hard, go the wow site and create a trial account and it'll take a little longer because you'll have to run around the capital cities using only the "say" (trials can't whisper or write in trade channel) but hopefully you'll be successfull.

In any case DON'T USE THE REALM FORUM, I highly doubt that blizzard likes that two people kill each other on purpose for acquiring in less time a piece of gear

sadly your lvl 35 won't be useful because the target you kill must be worth honor

that's the worst part for lvl 70s, get your trinket while leveling because killing the random lvl 58-61 player you might spot won't award a mark and you'll be stuck doing the daily when you're lucky enough to find a base controlled by the other faction

at lvl 70 you'll need at least a lvl62 opponent to get a mark

Best way to do this is is by grabbing up your guildies iin a group, and having some of them grab their opposing faction alts. team up in groups of five and the "defenders" get naked. No, not for durability, that's not the issue, but for faster killing!

Team one kills the naked people, for each kill every member of the party gets a mark, BAM, you all have 5 marks.

Team 2 runs back, team 1 gets naked.

Now both teams have 5 marks each.

Rinse and repeat.

This also works in Halaa, best place to avoid randoms "helping" you is at the base of the Halaa cliffs, in the water but still inside the Halaa zone.

I know it can seem strange but it's not so hard to stay alive in the outlands with a low level once you have a mount and you stick to roads.

My horde is used to live in nagrand

The problem with farming one toon from the oposite faction is the rez timer. I farmed my brothers orc hunter on my draenai shaman and after a few kills the rez timer made it not really worth sticking around for the timer.
