I've been leeching for a long and i wanted to contribute. This is common sense so I don't think this is repost.




Silithus is great zone to mine Thorium Ore. Red marked zones are silithid grounds, each ground has 2-3 caves and each cave has 1-3 Ooze Covered Rich Thorium Vein, these veins drop 5-7 Thorium Ore.To mine Thorium Ore you will require 275 Mining skill. To prospect Thorum Ore you will require 275 Jewelcrafting skill.
Each 5 Thorium Ore prospects into 1-2 of these gems:


Living Ruby 25% 6g/ea
Huge Emerald 20% 12g/ea
Large Opal 20% 12g/ea
Blue Sapphire 20% 15g/ea
Azerothian Diamond 20% 20g/ea

These prices are based on my realm.

Jewelcrafers are buying these gems like crazy (I was one of them too before i discovered Silithus. ).

omg u play on a pro realm last time i checked AH for those it was about 8 g/ea for Azerothian Diamond, Large Opal and huge emerald

Prices are jumpy.. about a week ago i some huge emeralds for 25g/ea and next day they where sold.

I think u made a mistake on the Ruby. Isn't it supposed to be Star Ruby? not living ruby haha and yeah emeralds go for like 25g on my server its insane =( lvling JC ftl
