All you can so is stand there auto attack trap pop BW and kite around.
But you wanna know what REALLY takes skill?
MM hunter.

So let me teach you how 2 pl3h MM

First of all your spec...Nothing fancy..

actually ya let me explain the mechanics..

2v2/3v3 Marksmanship (11/41/9)


You lose Deterrance. - used when u need to get out of close melee .in 2v2 it isnt used alot, But when it comes down to it..All is at stake..****ing rogue wont get the **** out..pop deterrance..Otherwise its used mostly in 3s.

You lose survivalist..But really not much of a loss because of the 11 points in BM

Surefooted..Not really much of a loss there..I only get it for the hit rating when i go 0/43/18

And for the simple hunter...We have the simple MM spec..I use it to show my ass off that i can beat a rogue as a MM hunter since they always whine about BW.

As a marksmanship hunter..You dont just deal damage, You actually..Do stuff. You have the ability to chain trap effectively provided you do it at the right time and your partner isnt an idiot (in 1v1 its alot easier to chain trap effectively.)
You also use stuff differently.

Arcane shot - IS NOT A SOURCE OF DPS WHEN FIGHTING HEALERS OR CASTERS, ESPECIALLY DRUIDS AND PALADINS. Arcane shot to you, is used as a dispell mechanic. It can also be used as a source of dps, But. Be weary of what classes your up aginst what they might be able to cast.

Serpent sting. You should use this PROVIDED you have enough mana, And depending on your setup....Dont do anything you'd regret...Wouldnt want one measily little DoT breaking scatter / trap now would we?

Aimed shot.

DO NOT..I REPEAT...DO NOT USE THIS AS A SOURCE OF MAJOR DPS.
It is very high on mana, If your fighting a healer though, Always keep this rebuffed.

Viper sting. If your opponent dosent have mana...Whats the point in them living? Oom your opponent..its all over. But there are limitations you should watch out for...

Scorpion pet. Your probably wondering why most mm hunters have scorpion for pets. It is used on classes that have a poison dispell mechanic. Since its rarely ever resisted, and its constantly rebuffed, Use it to "Protect" Viper sting. You dont want your viper sting to get dispelled.

Snake trap.

It's not used very often. but lets say your up aginst a boomkin...or a holy paladin that actually knows what they're doing, They will probably take viper sting as "vry srs bizness". Run up there. wing clip them, run a little bit out infront of them put down the trap (make sure its in their path) then go back to normal kiting, hits. Also snake traps are HELLA op aginst Warlocks Mages and other things that cast spells as it constant pushback

Scatter shot

if you see a little cloud of smoke behind you..and you know your up aginst a rogue....Dont hesitate for one second to use this...scatter shot..lay down your freezeing trap, get within max range then begin to DPS as normal. But watch lolsteps and charged..they will f' ur day up. It's mainly used when things are too close. or when you need a moment to position for a trap

Silencing shot.

This should always be saved for a rainy day.
Lets say your getting ganked by a boomkin. u see them casting starfire..(typical f'ing cheap crap -.-) Feign. shoot, Dispell omen of clarity. send pet viper sting ect, When they cyclone you and try to starfire again...thats when u silence them. So its used to stop catastrophic damage and stop people form healing at the last minute. (lets say a paladin is at 5% spamming flash heal...Also typical...) Silence them and all will be well ^_~

Your trinket.

Assuming your not too big a nub, and you have a pvp trinket...DO NOT..i repeat..DO NOT waste it on cheap shot, kidney shot, Charge, or any other crappy little 5 second stuns. Use it to get out of slows. Such as cripple poison, hamstring, repentanse.

Your battlemaster trinket.

Love it. its saved my arse many times...Use it when you feel your goin down..such as...20-30% health?

Deterence

use it when your in a tight spot. but use it wisely, as it is a longer type of cooldown. Use it when you have no way of getting away...lets say you in 2s and rogue is beating on you....Your not doing shit..ur trying to walk away at -70% movement speed (provided this rogue is smart enough to have cripple and wound) How are you going to do anything, when you cant get away? your trinkets down your traps on CD ..scatter is still down.. Not nessesarily. Deterence..use it to get away at low health at close encounters.

How to beat a Holy paladin.

Kite. stay WAY far away. Use aspect of the cheetah if your good and know when to get rid of it just in time. BE SURE TO SEND YOUR PET -AFTER- USING VIPER STING. Or itll just dispell the sting instead of the scoprid poison. SAVE UR ARCANE SHOT. Blessing of freedom is ftl. use it to dispell BoF. Be sure to use your Concussive shot and your Frost patch trap when you can, but be sure to stay at max range the entire fight. kite in circled, if they get too close, wing clip, THEN SCATTER, then get back. Dual weilding intellect + aspect of viper. Every hunter should have this. if your going oom, switch weps and put on viper, if later on in the fight you get above 60% mana then you can go hawk + 2h. but your gonna need mana as this is a long laster. The first bubble, lol, do....Get back..and bandage..Feign, drink lololol =D Wash rince repeat..use silence at 10%..Provided this paladin is similarly geared and isnt s2 < s4. You should win if you do it right.

It's pointless to have a scorpid now in arena to mask Viper Sting as Dispel Poison now targets Viper Sting first always over Scorpid Sting.

So, who's the huntard?

No, You have to send your scorpid after u lay your viper sting. Also it never hurts to try to get a snake trap in, The mind numbing poison and the cripple + the DoT poison it gives off is a great way to ensure your sting never gets dispelled...But there are risks..like..Lets say you need to freeze a rogue, or, Lay a frost trap. It's very critical to plan your timing before you actually do it...Also before a match, Consider LoS. Ididots who hug poles...It's very predictable. And, Gives your trap a 10-15 second chance to cooldown.
