Two money tips

Hello!

First tip, Honor and Money while Darkmoon Faire:
(Might be common sence)
As it's Darkmoon faire atm theres 2 vendors which sells alot of stuff for a few Silver which you can sell on AH for over 50g sometimes.
Black Lotus,
Blue gems,
Leather,
Pots,
Herbs,
Motes,
etc

As it's in Terrokar atm, I queue up for AV (the queue is 4 min on my server), I fly to the vendors and camp them untill I can join AV. When I get out of AV, I go to vendors again, theres new stuff. Earning loads of honor per hour, and loads of money. It's a good idea to have Auctioneer here, so you can see if you make profit by it. Some people even made some auto buy scripts so you can camp there:

Theres 2 vendors:
Lhara: Sells mainly leather and herbalism things. And a few low level greenies.
Professor Thaddeus Paleo : Sells rare gems, motes, and potions.

The second tip, extra money from Consortium rep:
Many people doesn't know that from The Consortium you can each month get a little "gift". The gift is a sack of gems. How many, and which, depends on your reputation with them. But many people are now revered because Daily heroic gives reputation with them. The guy that gives you the sack with gems is located at "The Consortium" base where you get it is the one in Nagrand. (Location: 31,56)

At the very right of the base the guy Gezhe stands (Membership Benefits - Quest - World of Warcraft) he will give you the qust "Membership Beneficts". Talk to him and receive a bag full of rare/green gems. You will get one of the ones listed below, depends on your reputation with The Consortium.

Friendly: Gem-Stuffed Envelope - Item - World of Warcraft
Honored: Unmarked Bag of Gems - Item - World of Warcraft
Revered: Bulging Sack of Gems - Item - World of Warcraft
Exalted: Bag of Premium Gems - Item - World of Warcraft

Friendly have a chance to give blue gems (2%), but mainly you will get green gems. About 4.

Honored have a chance to give blue gems (3%), but mainly you will get green gems.
About 4-5.

Revered have a chance to give you blue gems (13%), and some green gems.

Exalted got a pretty big chance to give you blue gems (30-40%) and a few green gems. (I've heard you can even get epic gems, but not sure.)

As I'm only friendly I'm not 100% sure about how many you will get from the others.
This might be common sence for some, but all I've told this, didn't knew it.
A few extra money tips that takes no time.
This gem stuff, can be done every month and you can do it again the 1st of the next month.
For instance, I take gems the 17th of July, when it's the 1st of August I can go get more.
So really, it doesn't matter WHEN in the month you do it!
