Psychological warfare in the Arena!

Just a small trick that i believe you could call a guide.

It's the simplest thing you can do in an arena as a melee class, but can have drastic results. When you/your parter open on the opposing team, spam your strafe left + right keys while performing your normal opening tasks.

What's the point?

It will make you appear as though you're bored enough with the current bracket rating that you have time to spam strafes. It will make them believe you're a very high rated team and are just moving up the brackets to get back to your 2k+ rating

This can sometimes give you the little edge over someone, whether it be making them nervous and leading to a mistake, or having them simply respect your playstyle, meaning you can skip all the 'noob tactic rotations' because both teams know how to avoid, break, escape them, etc.

Strangely enough, since s4 has started I've not seen one person but myself do this... not one of the countless 4/5 s4 warriors or rogues i've faced.

i play in the 1400's naked as well as my friend and we win some amazingly.

Back then, me and my gnome rogue partner whilst I was a warlock played 1550 naked, only trinket and weapon, we beated s1 and even s1/s2 geared people lawl. The only problem we had was against a druid and warrior ofc lol.

Yea i do this fairly often while hitting people under Hammer o' Skill, just to aviod that stupid 3.6 second wait untill i pwn them again.

I do eet all the time. It works... 1505 rating over 100 games. Only S1.
