Hey guys this is my first topic. Searched and didnt find posted before.
Ok here are a couple tips for hunters when they want to lvl there weapons.
First off, when i got my first polearm when in my mid 40's what id do is go to Dead Mines and clear out the mines before the instance. Then i ran over to Dusk Wood, Raven Hill and i was grinding on those skeletons there a nice spot, they can take hits and you can kill alot and they will spawn quick.
So what id do is send my pet and have him get agro and then call him off, make sure he is on passive. Then id attack the skeleton, since it was low skill level i missed alot so i didnt get agro. Then when i did get agro id send pet on him and finish him.
Ok now that might be knowledge to some where is a better one.
Now when you raising your weapon skill it counts on like your hits and your swings. And that can really suck with a slow weapon. So here is a tip i do, i spam Wing Clip it has vitually no cool down and costs little mana. So all i do is attack once then spam wing clip and it takes alot less time to raise that skill because your hitting with wing clip. You dont do much damage but thats a good thing. So this is mostly for slow weapons that can make it take forever to train.
Id image you can do the pet thing with a warlock and id imagine other classes have a no cooldown skill that costs little mana they can do this with.
Hope this helps some out!
