Easy farming...

As much as I hate to give this secret away 'cause I know people on my server will camp the shit out of it, I feel I should at least contribute to the website that has helped me so much in the past (If you hadn't guessed this is my first post). Here goes:

In Shadowmoon Valley in the Alliance faction's first outpost, Wildhammer Stronghold, there is a quest called Shadowmoon Harbingers, in which you are given a set of spectacles allowing you to see into the paranormal "beyond." The object is to kill 12 of these ghosts located in the outpost and return the goggles to the questgiver. The quest reward is 11g but the goggles are worth more than that because these ghosts drop 5-25 silver a peice, and very often drop 1-3 Netherweave Cloth. They also drop a good amount of nice BoE greens and even sometimes Blue BoEs, or cards for the various darkmoone decks, as well as grey vendor loot and a fairly decent amount of Super Mana pots and Super Healing pots. Considering that there is a both a food vendor (For buying food and selling your vendor loot) and a mailbox (for obviously mailing to bank alt) It would seem these goggles are almost invaluable, surely not worth the 11g quest reward just for 1 slot in your inventory. This has helped me a lot in paying for my flying mount, though the process is slow, it is incredibly easy and convenient, and yeilds high results in the end. I've made up to 100g/hour from doing this so it is worth holding onto the spectacles. Hope this helped someone, I know personally I HATE farming, but this is just too easy and requires practically no effort. The only way this could be easier is if I had access to a glider for it (hint hint. no jk) (But seriously I'm not)

Edit: These guys are level 68-69 (yellow mobs, so no aggro on you, pick em off at any pace). If you're not quite 70 yet and you hate questing as much as I do this is a slow and boring way of getting xp. I've had friends get from 67 to 69 this way, though theoretically you could get to 70 from 66, questing or instancing is still quicker.

Do the entire questline and the reward will give you a helm with the spectracles buff on them. You will need some groups for the last quests.

Do the 3 gorefiend quest and you will get a quest to kill this one guy which is very easy and fun cuz you turn into this orc in warlock tier 5(?) armor and stuff....here are the rewards from that quest

Yes stay on the first quest. It works for horde too, btw.
The instant respawn in deathforge was a cooler trick tough. Made 1000g an hour there with 3 ppl, next morning it got fixed xD

lmao wowwiki?? wowwiki is much more biased than thottbot, at least thottbot has the excuse of being innacurate due to misinformation or lack of data.

That's what my friends are telling me. If someone can verify that these helmets with the spectrecles buff can see the ones in the Wildhammer Stronghold then it would be worth finishing the questline, but plenty of people I know say they regret turning the original spectrecles in, for they are unable to farm in the city.
