How To:
Quote multiple posts in one reply
Simply go down the page, clicking each 'MultiQuote' button, turning it red on all the posts you want to quote. Then simply scroll to the bottom of the page and hit
Edit your post
Just click the button at the bottom of any of your own posts. If you edit the post within 1 minute of you originally posting it, it won't display the last edited text. This is nice for quick typo fixes that you catch. Anything after a minute will show "Last edited by ______: xx date xx time"
You may add a reason for editing your post, but it's not required. When you finish editing your post, click and your post will be updated.
Delete your post
Click on the button again, and first hit the 'Delete' button. Then you will have a text box to enter a reason for deletion if you want, but again, not required. When you're ready to delete your post, just hit the 'Delete this Message' button and it will be removed from the thread. If someone has quoted your post before you deleted it though, it will not remove the text from their quote.
Delete your thread
Simply click the 'Thread Tools' button at the top of your thread and a dropdown box will appear. If you are the creator of the thread, you will have the option to check 'Delete Thread' and then hit 'Perform Action' to delete your thread.
Rate Threads
You can rate your own, or other's people's threads based on a 5 star ranking system by clicking on the 'Rate Thread' button. This will open a dropdown menu that will give you 5 different options.
Hit 'Vote Now' to add your rating! Afterwards. The average rating will be displayed in the forum, to the left of the post/view count.
Report Threads
If you think a thread or post has violated MMOwned's rules, you can hit the button in the top right of the post and a moderator will investigate it and move/delete it if needed.
Adding a thorough comment when filling out the report helps the mods know what it is that's wrong with the post.
Use the Rep button
I know it's been said before, but if there's a post that you found helpful or neat, you can '+ rep' the poster by clicking the +Rep button in the top right of the post. This will open a dropdown menu where you can set how much rep you want to give (Based on how much rep power you have) and a short comment.
Alternatively, if you hit the +Rep button on your own thread it will show you how many times your thread has been + repped, and the comments along with it.
May be pretty obvious for the senior members But for those of you that did learn something, Enjoy!
