Well i got grounded off WoW but had this urge to play it about 2 days later but i couldnt... because my parents would see. so I am writing this guide to show you how to make wow hidden. EDIT: im basing this off of windows XP.
Step 1. Go to My Computer and then to C/:: drive and then to Program Files, Next look for World Of Warcraft and right click the folder. Go to Properties, then at the bottom you will see 2 checkboxes Read Only and Hidden. check Hidden.
Step 2. Now if you click Start there will be 2 sections of icons and WoW will probably be in one or 2 of them now if its in the top one right click it then click "remove from this list". If its in the bottom one then right click it then go to properties and rename it to something that no one would suspect like my bro plays RS so i named it "Runescape". Thenn go to "Shortcut" and "Change Icon" then change the icon to something else, i changed it to the picture of the earth with the arrow on top.
Step 3. Go To Filebeam - Free Fast File Hosting To download a usefull Auto IT script that, When running and WoW is running all you have to do is press F9 and it will hide WoW from you task bar. Press F10 to bring back.
Step 4. Go to My Computer and click Tools, then go to Folder Options, then view then, Do not show hidden files and folders.
Thats it hope you enjoy playing WoW without your parents knowing.
