    Children's Week Guide

I was just looking around and saw that this wasn't posted. I know that Children's Week is over, but I guess this could be of use next time around.

    Children’s Week Guide
May 1-7 (US) & 1-8 (EU) in Stormwind, Orgrimmar, Shattrath

Children’s Week is a holiday in WoW to "give back to the innocents of war: the orphans". Here’s a guide to the 2008 version of this event.

There’s really not much to it, just a couple of simple quest chains for the alliance and horde with some cute pet rewards in the end (and some reputation throughout).
    Horde quests:

    Orgrimmar: Requires level 10(?)

    * "Children’s Week". Starts from Orphan Matron Battlewail. Use the whistle and turn the quest in at the Orcish Orphan. Leads to…

    * "Lordaeron Throne Room". Just before going down into the Undercity.

    * "Down at the Docks". Ratchet Docks

    * "Gateway to the Frontier". The Barrens just before entering Ashenvale

You need to go to these places so you get the complete message for each quest, then use the whistle to turn them in at your orphan. Doing those 3 leads to…

    * "You Scream, I Scream…" Buy Tigule and Foror’s Strawberry Ice Cream from Alowicious Czervik in Orgrimmar
    * "Cairne’s Hoofprint" Get it from Cairne at 60.51 in Thunderbluff.

Obtain the ice cream and the hoofprint and use the whistle to turn the quests in at your orphan. Leads to…

    * "A Warden of the Horde" Turn this in at Orphan Matron Battlewail. Choose any of the following pet rewards or the bag with 5 gold:

Turtle Box: Turtle Box - Item - World of Warcraft
Rat Cage: Rat Cage - Item - World of Warcraft
Piglet’s Collar: Piglet's Collar - Item - World of Warcraft
Curmudgeon’s Payoff: Curmudgeon's Payoff - Item - World of Warcraft

    Shattrath: Requires level 60 (?)

    * "Children’s Week" starts from Orphan Matron Mercy. Use the whistle to turn it in at your Blood Elf Orphan. Leads to…

    * "A Trip to the Dark Portal"

    * "Hch’uu and the Mushroom People"

    * "Visit the Throne of the Elements"

You need to go to these places and summon your orphan so you get the complete message for each quest, then turn them in at your orphan. Doing those 3 leads to…

    * "Now, When I Grow Up…"
    * "Time to Visit the Caverns"

You need to go to these places and summon your orphan so you get the complete message for each quest, then turn them in at your orphan. Leads to…

    * "Back to the Orphanage" Turn this in at Orphan Matron Mercy. Choose any of the following pet rewards:

Egbert’s Egg Egbert's Egg - Item - World of Warcraft
Sleepy Willy Sleepy Willy - Item - World of Warcraft
Elekk Training Collar Elekk Training Collar - Item - World of Warcraft

    Alliance quests:

    Stormwind: Requires level 10(?)

"Children’s Week" starts at Orphan Matron Nightingale. Use the whistle to turn in at Human Orphan. Leads to…

"The Bough of the Eternals" The bank in Darnassus.

"The Stonewrought Dam" 49.14 loch modan

    "Spooky Lighthouse" 30.86 westfall

You need to go to these places so you get the complete message for each quest, then use the whistle to turn them in at your orphan. Doing those 3 leads to…

"You Scream, I Scream…" buy some from Emmithue Smails

    "Jaina’s Autograph"

Obtain the ice cream and the autograph and use the whistle to turn the quests in at your orphan. Leads to…

"A Warden of the Alliance". Turn this in at Orphan Matron Nightingale.

"Children’s Week" starts from Orphan Matron Mercy. Use the whistle to turn it in at your Draenei Orphan. Leads to…

"Auchindoun and the Ring of Observance"
"A Trip to the Dark Portal"
    "Jheel is at Aeris Landing!"

You need to go to these places and summon your orphan so you get the complete message for each quest, then turn them in at your orphan. Doing those 3 quests leads to…

"The Seat of the Naaru" which leads to…

    "Call on the Farseer"

    "Time to Visit the Caverns"

You need to go to these places and summon your orphan so you get the complete message for each quest, then turn them in at your orphan. Doing those 3 quests leads to…

"Back to the Orphanage" Turn this in at Orphan Matron Mercy.

That’s all there is to it!

I hope you guys enjoyed this.

Haha thanks for the comments guys.

I know it was kind of a pointless thread, I just went with it to help some of the people that are unaware.

    Thanks a lot.

I knew it would be, just thought it may have been a little too late for it to be put to use.

But like I've said, there is always next time.
