I think this thread will make and interesting subject to those who like/play the hunter class. These are some videos which I think they are the most representative to the word "kite". (So it's only my choice, don't flame here)

The "Kite": "To Kite or kiting is a combat tactic of a player character keeping a mob or another player at a certain distance, usually out of melee distance but within ranged attack, and luring the pursuer toward your direction while dealing damage at the same time. This is a tactic best suited for classes who deal most of their damage from range and are weak in melee range. I think that it clearly shows, I never made any of those videos nor I have a connection to those who made it... I just got the best (imo) videos the web can provide in a single thread. Never said that all those videos were mine.
