This is just a little shaman trick have been using for quite some time. Most end game shaman know about it but here it is anyway.

While healing an instance it helps to spam healing wave rank 1 on the tank, before he starts the fight, to get healing way stacked on the target and ansetral (<-misspelled) healing on the tank.

Just put earth shield on the tank and you wont need to heal if its early endgame (like most of Karazhan by example)

This is just a little shaman trick

trick =/= exploit....


but... its a good one.. not only for instance or raid healing but also for arena...
stack your rank 1 heals up to the max of ancestral (thats how it is spelled) and wait for a crit to give your mate 25% more armor... don´t forget to stack it on yourself!

TBH I like the shaman trick of making a focus bar and then a earth shock lvl1 cast to interrupt spells But this is a tad of too common knowledge, not really a trick. And this would go for priests too with that spell right?
