Ok this is the easiest way to convert a PDF into iPod readable text and put it on your iPod. Useful if u don't want to alt tab or for reading gold guides, class guides etc without computer.
1.) Open up the PDF you want
2.) Hold down ctrl+A
3.) Then when its all highlighted do ctrl+C
4.) Open your web browser (internet explorer, firefox, safari etc)
5.) Type in URL www.ebookhood.com
6.) There will be little buttons you can select....Convert file, Convert Text, Convert webpage and Convert RSS
7.) Click the Convert Text
8.) You should see a little box that says copy and paste your text here
9.) Click inside of it and do Ctrl+V
10.) Give it a a minute or until all the text is inside
11.) Scroll down and click Convert Text
12.) Once it loads (may take awhile) you will see a preview of your "ebook"
13.) Scroll down and click "Download as iPod Notes"
14.) It will download as a folder wherever you want
15.) Plug in your iPod
16.) Open up iTunes (if it isn't already opened)
17.) Go to the section about your iPod
18.) Scroll down and enable "Disk Mode"
19.) "X" out iTunes and go to "My Computer" or your desktop if you using a Mac
20.) Open up your iPod
21.) You should see a folder called "Notes"
22.) Open it and you will see an example text file
23.) Go to where you saved your ebook folder
24.) Select it and Ctrl+C it
25.) Ctrl+V it into the "Notes" folder on your iPod
26.) Now eject your iPod from the computer
27.) Go to Extras-->Notes
28.) They might have to load
29.) When done loading you will see the folder you saved there
30.) Open it and you will see numbered files
31.) Click on one, it will be the first page
32.) When your done reading the first page there will be a blue ">"
33.) It will become selected once you scroll down as far as you can
34.) Click the iPod's center button and it will load the next page do this again as you finish the next page etc.
Thats all it takes, you can repeat it if you want more than one book on your iPod
Hope that is of some use to someone, this obviously works with any PDF or text file.
